NOTICE: Documentation of the transfer of the funds from the donor’s account to the applicant’s account is
required. This may include obtaining a copy of the donor’s withdrawal slip or cancelled check, along with the
applicant’s deposit slip or bank statement showing the deposit. If the funds are not deposited to the applicant’s
account prior to closing, American Security Mortgage must obtain verification that the closing agent received
funds from the donor for the amount of the gift.

WARNING: Section 1010 of Title 18, U. S. C. Federal Housing Administration transactions provides: “Whoever, for the
purpose of influencing in any way the action of such Administration makes, passes, utters, or published any statement,
knowing the same to be false, shall be fined not more than $5,000 or imprisoned not more than two years, or both”.
