THE PILOT IMPLEMENTATION OF LIMITED FACE TO FACE CLASSES

DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

PURPOSE
The purpose of this study is to inform every individual, especially the
students, about the current outcome of implementing “Face-to-Face Classes” in
our country.
INTRODUCTION
According to Department of Education (DepEd), the pilot implementation of
limited face-to-face classes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic will start on
November 15, 2021, and end on January 31, 2022. The limited face-to-face
classes will involve Kindergarten to Grade 3 students. But, will it be more
effective, especially in suppressing and stopping the ever-increasing cases of
COVID-19?
BODY
Based on the Department of Education (DepEd) on November 23, 2021,
no cases of COVID-19 for participating learners and school personnel were
recorded during the first week of the pilot implementation of face-to-face classes.
Some of the students have fever, cough, cold, sore throat – they are not allowed
to enter school. There are still many new cases being recorded and it continues
to increase, making it so face-to-face classes cannot be implemented yet. Maybe
many are struggling with the online class, but our health is still more important.
We don't know who we will meet if we have face-to-face classes. They may be
positive, and we don't know what to expect. Although this face-to-face is limited,
it is still inevitable to meet others, especially if the students are traveling.

CONCLUSION

Our country still does not have universal medicine, but there are
vaccinations, that are not mandatory. Not everyone can be vaccinated, so it's not
safe to go out yet. It is important to learn, and the situation in online classes is
difficult. The most important thing is our health so that we can fulfill and perform
our desires. The teachers are also making a way for students to keep up. Unity
and cooperation are needed to eradicate the germs in our country. Even when
we are face-to-face classes, we will continue to follow the protocols implemented
in our country.
