- Vedansh Mudgal 2123547

Consumer behavior can be defined as those acts of individuals (consumers) directly involved
in obtaining, using, and disposing of economic goods and services, including the decision
processes that precede and determine these acts.

It was a very helpful assignment for me as this whole interview process helped me to
understand how a customer thinks before and after buying a product.

As the person I interviewed is from a very high lever in the government hierarchy I was able
to understand that the sole purpose because for buying apple products was privacy and
security.

Also, what are the basic features a person normally looks into while buying a product.

Starting from the privacy and security perspective to the performance of the product.

As a whole we can say that consumer behavior towards a product is a very diverse thing and
can be understood in a much deeper sense through the help of these kind of practical
activities.

Speaking of apple as a company it has engraved its name in a lot of people’s heart and mind
as I personally haven't seen or heard about anyone who has shifted from an android phone to
an apple I phone or once a person start's using, I phone it’s never going back.

Miss Prachi Mehra is Financial Manager in My Noble Serve Company in Mysore. After
interviewing Miss Prachi, I was able to get a deeper look into a whole different kind of user
audience that we, as students of apple products and companies of this generation. As we
heard that her company supports and restricts employees to apple products mainly because of
security and their seamless interaction with foreign clients. One thing they emphasis was the
performance of their apple products as she belonged to a corporate environment, they needed
a very time efficient and fast working machine which apple provides them as well as
excellent customer service in the form of great terms on processors, as well as a recognizable
camera quality and their seamless connectivity, was something that was very much spoken
about.

I got a glimpse of a different consumer set with a bit different behavior towards the product
we usually see.
In a nutshell, this assignment helped me understand and recognize different consumer
behaviors toward a product.
Through this interview, Miss Prachi has given us as consumers important information about
the Apple brand, its products, and how it has evolved over time. Apple will always be a
product with extremely high expectations, and with these expectations come the demand for
results from the consumer, which gives rise to the notion that something brilliant is being
created right in front of us.
The ability of apple as a company that does not need much advertisement is just a thing out of
the world. As we can see, during the launching of new iPhone products, there is always a
large crowd prebooking it; this shows how much apple has evolved and made a place in its
customer's hearts.

Apple Inc. (Apple) designs, manufactures and markets smartphones, personal computers,
tablets, wearables and accessories and sells a range of related services. The Company's
products include iPhone, Mac, iPad, Air Pods, Apple TV, Apple Watch, Beats products,
Home Pod, iPod touch and accessories. The experience of using an apple device is
unparalleled. Product design, California based company are known for their Cutting edge
features and their great looks. But those are not only the reasons why everyone loves apple
and their products. Perhaps the most innovative brands on the plant, apple has redefined how
we listen to music with the iPod, communicate with the iPhone, and work and entertain
ourselves with the legendary mac line of computers, and the brand deserves credit for
maintaining a set of loyal customers that continue to grow even today.

When planning to buy a mobile phone, customers look forward to a range of things such as
standout features, paper packed performance modules, and affordability.

Products by apple appeal to buyers in ways that very few products can. Ahead of their
competitors by miles in terms of software and hardware, the features and aesthetics continue
to charm the company’s customers for years. Apple is known for designing products that are r
a typical yet the best as well as unparalleled.

Apple’s advertisements feature people in their true elements, evoking the sentiments of the
masses and garnering an unprecedented relatability. Buyers and users of apple products wear
their status of ownership of the devices as a badge of honour. They are quality devices. Good
products last longer and so tend to hold their value better and worth the paying.

Mili Chandra has built a professional career around smart and innovative technology. She
likes to surround herself with cutting edge and immersive systems that allow her to efficiently
complete her tasks. Over the years she’s used various products but none of them have come
close to matching the calibre of the Apple brand.
As we live in a rapidly changing world we see technology that becomes obsolete very quickly
but even in this challenging environment the Apple brand is able to survive and thrive.
Mili Chandra is a working professional Who values her career and family over every thing.
She has been using Apple products since the iPhone 4 and has continued to use them till date.
Her initial experience to all of this was how immersive and revolutionary the product was and
over the years she’s been experiencing the same.
With the growth of the Apple brand there have been a lot of changes and these changes had
both positive and negative effects. When we talk about Apple products there are various
things that come to mind such as quality, design, features, aesthetic‘s, and status symbol.
These elements add up With each other and the customer or consumers React accordingly.

As a consumer Mili Chandra has provided us with valuable insight through this interview
about the Apple brand, its products and how it essentially functions over the years. Apple is
forever gonna be a product with very high expectations and with these expectations
consumers also need results, which leads to the idea of something genius being made right in-
front of us.

The experience of using an apple device is paralleled. They are known for their cutting-edge
features and their oh so great looks. However, those are not the only explanations as to why
people adore Apple and their products. Perhaps the most innovative brand on the planet,
apple has redefined how we listen to music with the iPod, communicate with the iPhone and
work and entertain ourselves with the legendary mac line of computers.
I interviewed Mr. Angamuthu (48 years old) who is the managing director of an export
business in Karur. He’s been using apple products for about 10 years now and is very
satisfied with the performance modules. As a marketer, the apple frenzy is something to
admire. Apple was voted the UK’s coolest brand for the 9th consecutive year.
It’s hard to think of another brand that has achieved the same, but how do they do it is the
question. They know good usability; they keep it consistent and they evolve. A bit of gold
dust that threads these things together is consistency, consistent presentation of their brand
across all channels, all content. Bundled together they create a powerful set of values that
keep people truly hooked.

On interviewing an avid Apple user, I have come to a conclusion that even though Apple
products such as iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks are quite expensive, a large portion of the
society prefers to buy their products. This is due to its sleek design, amazing connectivity,
and brand value.
People all around the world are impressed with the amazing camera quality. Even with very
minimal advertisements, Apple is able to gain a large number of new customers with every
new launch.
Although other companies provide electronics with the same features and cheaper prices
people ten to purchase Apple products for its brand value and its privacy settings.

An understanding was established with the following interviews. Consumers showcased and
gave exceptional responses to the questions asked. Consumers frequently purchase products
not for their attributes per se, but rather for the ultimate benefits that these attributes provide,
resulting in the satisfaction of ultimate values. And Apple is the type of company that
understands their customers and future aspects of innovation like no other. That is why Apple
is ranked first among the Top 50 Most Innovative Companies.
Apple understands their customers and knows exactly what they want.
Consumer purchasing behavior was never simple, but understanding it is an essential task of
marketing management, and the one who can do it successfully wins. That is why they are
able to sell their high-priced products so easily in today's market.
The key factor that influences consumer's behavior is the ability of Apple’s products to meet
their specific needs and expectations. Apple’s campaign strategy urges customers to think
differently in terms of technology and new experiences with the iPhone. It tries to create a
feeling of uniqueness among the potential costumers. Consumer loyalty is one of the tools
that expands and maintains Apple’s market share. Because of brand loyalty, the existing
consumers influence their families and friends to buy an iPhone. They promote the products
on behalf of the company. The product’s design consistency and similar appearance not
having been changed over the years improve trust among the consumers. As a result,
consumers of Apple value excellent features and stability of the operating system over low
prices.

This CIA has helped us gain more knowledge and perspective on the consumer preference of
this particular brand. The question, “why do people love Apple so much?” boils down to
consumer behavior. Consumer behavior is a sophisticated process that involves more than
just purchasing. These procedures have a stronger impact on the customer and society as a
whole since consumers use them to meet their requirements. Apple is a word that has now
become synonymous with technology. Apple has always been on the front line of cutting-
edge technology. Apple has proven so far that it has an endless store of innovative ideas,

enough to sustain the unveiling of a new product every year. Consumers have come to
identify the Apple brand as a symbol of quality, innovation, universality, and fun. Needless to
say, Apple is also a social status symbol.
