 Why Metrics That Matter (MTM)?
MTM provides partners with valuable data about the effectiveness of their deliveries. We want our
partners to have an MTM account and associate all their active locations to their account.
Getting Started with MTM

Things to remember while creating an
MTM account.
1. Create an account on MTM with your Microsoft
Org ID.
2. In the account, associate all your active MPN
locations.
3. Confirm the details entered in the MTM system
match the Microsoft system.

Associating active locations
Any location delivering Microsoft course
training would have a location set up in the
MTM system- surveys for any class provided
through that location should be associated
with that location.
The active locations that deliver Microsoft training
classes are expected to be associated with MTM. LOC 2
is an inactive location that does not deliver Microsoft
training classes and is not expected to be associated
with MTM.

LOC 1 is an active and associated with the MTM. LOC
3 is active but not associated with the MTM; in this
case, the learning partner will not get any credit for
their deliveries at LOC 3.

LOC 1 and 3 are active locations and associated with the
MTM. LOC 3 is a training center, but the survey was sent
from LOC 1; in this case, the credit will be associated
with LOC 1, not LOC 3. We do not support this action
and want LPs to send the survey from LOC, where the
class was held to get the most detailed feedback.
