10. A line l1 is parallel to a plane P and intersects an another line l2 at acute angle . Also line l2 is
inclined with plane P at acute angle . Find the angle between the plane that contains the lines l1
and l2 and the plane P.

11. A right angled ABC has its hypotenuse AC lying on a plane P which makes acute angles  and
 with the sides AB and BC respectively. Find the angle between the plane of  ABC and the
plane P.

12. A plane P is passing through the bisector of the right angle of a ABC (B = 90o). The plane P
is inclined at acute angle  with the plane of  ABC. Find the angles made by the side AB and
BC with plane P.

13. Consider a parallelepiped ABCDA1 B1 C1 D1. The planes of the parallelograms ABCD and A1 B1
C1 D1 are parallel. The edges AA1, BB1, CC1 and DD1 are perpendicular to the plane of ABCD.
Let AD1 = A1D = a, BA1 = AB1 = b, AC = c and BD = d. Find the angle between the edges AB
and AD.

14. Let line l be the line of intersection of the planes P1 and P2. Acute angle between the planes P1
and P2 is . A line l1 inclined at acute angle  with the line l is lying in the plane P1. A line l2 r
to l is lying in the plane P2. Find the angle between the lines l1 and l2.

15. The angle between two skew lines is 60o. A point ‘A’ lies on one line, a point B on the other, the
distances from each of these points to the common perpendicular of the skew lines are the same
and are equal to the distance between the lines. Find the angle between the common
perpendicular and the line AB.

16. ABC is an equilateral triangle with each side ‘a’ units. A line segment AD = a is perpendicular to
the plane of ABC. Find the acute angle and the distance between the lines AB and CD.

17. Two line segments, AB of length ‘a’ and CD of length ‘b’, lie on skew lines. Angle and distance
between the skew lines are  and c respectively. The feet M and N of the common normal to the
skew lines divide AB and CD in the ratio 2:3 and 3:2 respectively. Find the length of BD and
BC.

18. The plane passing through one of the edges of a regular tetrahedron divides the volume of the
tetrahedron in the ratio 3:5. Find the angles into which this plane divides the dihedral angle of the
tetrahedron.
