finance, marketing, and production. Strategic decisions concern an organization's
long-term future; thus, strategic management is strategic planning. Strategic
management, on the other hand, is not only for organizations or businesses; it can
also be applied or used as a tool for achieving life's objectives. The process begins
with setting strategic goals, determining the strategies required to achieve life's
goals, evaluating these strategies, and finally implementing them. Using strategic
management as a tool for achieving life goals can have a positive impact on long
term success because it can guide you on what you want to achieve in the future.
