1.0. INTRODUCTION:
Today’s passage tells us the beginning of Jesus earthly ministry after been
baptized by John the Baptist at River Jordan. Luke 3:21-23.
Thereafter He was led of the Holy Ghost to proceed to the wilderness and
spent forty (40) days and forty (40) nights there in fasting and prayers. He
was equally tempted by the devil and He overcame.
Luke 4:18, 19 and 21 are the key verses for our prayers tonight. These
verses summarize the purpose of Jesus earthly ministry. He came to save,
heal, deliver, recovering of sight, set at liberty and preach the total gospel.
Whatever our need or challenge is or are, they ae all included in the
purpose of His coming.
Since then this Scripture is been fulfilled in the lives of those who believe in
Him. He cited two (2) important examples or cases of people outside the
commonwealth of Israel (Gentiles) receiving miraculous interventions
because of their faith in God while the Israelites didn’t because of unbelief.
Even with the citing of these examples (or reminders) they still wanted to
stone Him instead of repenting.
They missed their expected miracles and He left them and proceeded to
Capernaum. May we not miss our miracles and blessings due to unbelief.
2.0. PRAISE POINTS:
2.1. Father, I thank You for keeping me and my family from the beginning pf the
year till this eleventh (11th) month.
2.2. O Lord, I give You praise for Your loving kindness, mercies, goodness, and
provisions.
2.3. Father, I appreciate You for Your divine protection and the forgiveness of
my sins and shortcomings.
2.4. O Lord, for the salvation of my soul, I say thank You.
2.5. Father, receive all the glory, praise and honour for my life. I owe everything I
have and everything I am to You alone. Thank You.

3.0. PRAYER POINTS:

3.1. O Lord, let Your word be fulfilled in my life and family today in Jesus name.
v. 18, 19, 21.
3.2. Father, let my situation receive Your divine attention today in Jesus name.
v. 18, 21.
3.3. O Lord, attend to my case today and give me a new testimony.

3.4. Father, deliver me and my family from every satanic bondage and captivity
in Jesus name.
3.5. Father, help me and grant me my heart desires in Jesus name.
3.6. O Lord, anything in me that will reject or hinder divine visitation, uproot it out
of my life in Jesus name. v. 28, 29.
3.7. Father, confuse my enemies and frustrate their evil plans against me in
Jesus name. v. 29-30.
3.8. O Lord, cause my enemies to be disorganized and put to shame in Jesus
name. v. 29-31.
3.9. O Lord, let Your power touch my life for good in Jesus name.
3.10. Father, give me and my family outstanding miracles and testimonies as this
year comes to an end in Jesus name. O Lord let me not end this year the
way I started it in Jesus name.
