SIX STEP GUIDE TO YOUR FAST
How you begin and conduct your fast will largely determine your
success. For some people, this might be the first time ever to follow a
fast or having done one without having a proper understanding or
meaning. We are hoping that following the six basic steps to fasting
will make your time with the Lord more meaningful and spiritually
rewarding.
STEP 1: Set Your Objective
Ask the Holy Spirit to clarify His leading and objectives for your
prayer fast. This will enable you to pray more specifically and
strategically.
STEP 2: Prepare Yourself Spiritually
The very foundation of fasting and prayer is repentance. Unconfessed
sin will hinder your prayers. There are several things you can do to
prepare your heart:
● Ask God to help you make a comprehensive list of your sins.
● Confess every sin that the Holy Spirit calls to your remembrance
and accept God's forgiveness (1 John 1:9).
● Seek forgiveness from all whom you have offended, and forgive all
who have hurt you (Mark 11:25).
● Make restitution as the Holy Spirit leads you.
● Begin your time of fasting and prayer with an expectant heart
(Hebrews 11:6).
STEP 3: Prepare Yourself Physically
Physical preparation makes the drastic change in your eating routine
a little easier so that you can turn your full attention to the Lord in
prayer.
● Do not rush into your fast.
● Prepare your body. Eat smaller meals before starting a fast. Avoid
high-fat and sugary foods.
● Eat raw fruit and vegetables for two days before starting a fast.
While You Fast
Your time of fasting and prayer has come. You are abstaining from all
solid foods and have begun to seek the Lord. Here are some helpful
suggestions to consider:
●You may drink water during your fast. If necessary; for health
reasons you may consume beverages such as tea or coffee.

● You may find it useful to take mints during the fast to freshen your
breath.
●Prepare yourself for temporary mental discomforts such as
impatience, crankiness, and anxiety.
● Expect some physical discomforts, especially on the second day.
● You may have fleeting hunger pains or dizziness.
● Withdrawal from caffeine and sugar may cause headaches.
●Physical annoyances may also include weakness, tiredness, or
sleeplessness.
The first two or three days are usually the hardest. As you
continue to fast, you will likely experience a sense of well-being
both physically and spiritually. However, should you feel hunger
pains, increase your liquid intake.
STEP 4: Put Yourself on a Schedule
For maximum spiritual benefit, set aside time to be alone with the
Lord. Listen for His leading. The more time you spend with Him, the
more meaningful your fast will be.
Morning
● Begin your day in praise and worship.
● Read and meditate on God's Word.
● Invite the Holy Spirit to work in you.
● Invite God to use you.
● Pray for His vision for your life and empowerment to do His will.

DAY 1
Father, I thank you for keeping me, my family and all that concerns
me. (Isaiah 34:1-6)
Thank God for what He is going to do in your life this year (Isaiah
43:19)
Thank God for your glorious future (Psalm 67:5-7)
Let's thank God for the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding that fills
our heart daily. Eph 1:17-19
Thank God that the Spirit of Wisdom and understanding, the fear of
God will fill the hearts of all the children in EWG. We pray that their
lives will be a testimony to many in Jesus name.
We are praying for a revival in the City that the Word of God will find
expression in the City. Acts 19:20
Pray that every soul the Lord brings to EWG will be planted and
established. They will not be distracted by all the winds of doctrine
hanging around. Ps. 92:13-14, Ephesians 4:13-14
We are praying for the Spirit of membership for everybody that calls
EWG home. Acts 4:23
Pray that Word will find ground and expression in our hearts. Every
Word preached will establish the heart of peace in the believers.
Ephesians 6:15
Now frustrate every work of the devil to hinder growth. Declare men
are coming from every nation and tribe and flooding without
hinderance in to EWG. Isaiah 2:2, Ezekiel 36:37-38.
8. Frustrate the activities of familiar spirits assigned to hinder you
and the effectual working of the grace of God in your life to fail.
Declare them ineffective and command every embargo laid upon
anybody to be lifted.
Lam 3:36 -To subvert a man in his cause, the Lord approveth not.
Jer. 20:10-11
Now begin to command grace, favour and mercy to locate you.
Declare that the word is working mightily in you producing results.
Declare that you are accepted in the beloved.
Now command your feet to be ordered by the Lord. You will not be
found where there is trouble. The day is blessed with divine grace and
favour. Wickedness is shaken out of my day and the elements favour
my course. Job 38:12-13, Judges 5:20 - 23

Pray for every member of EWG to walk in the wisdom of their divine
calling. They will step up when they are needed.

DAY 2
Father, I receive supernatural purging from every dead works by the
ever flowing blood of Jesus

CURSING THE OPERATION OF THE SPIRIT OF DEATH AGAINST

YOUR LIFE AND FAMILY. [Isaiah 25:8; 28:18, 1 Cor. 15:54, Rom.
8:1-2]
I stop the operation of negative forces (Robbers, Kidnappers,
terrorists) around me and my family now and in the future, by the
blood of Jesus Christ.
I decree total covering for me and my family from the spirit of
calamity, destruction, sicknesses and disease and every form of evil in
2017 and beyond, in the name of Jesus Christ.
I decree, only the voice of joy and rejoicing shall be heard in my
habitation and that of my family members in the name of Jesus
Christ.
Pray for your local Church pastor (Rev. Anita Doi) and the members of
the local Church that they will be committed and established in the
local Church.
Pray for growth in unity and in love. Bind the Spirit of confusion and
stagnation in the Church.
Commit the health of the members of the local Church to the Lord;
and declare healing for any member who is afflicted or hospitalised.
Ask God for the Spirit of wisdom to operate effectively in the lives of
our pastors as they lead God’s flock. Pray for them for the grace to be
good shepherds.
Pray that the Lord will deliver your pastors from wicked and
unreasonable men especially those that are not of faith. (Acts 9:31,
Acts 20:28, Ephesians 6:18)
Ask the Lord to shield you from every form of attack, accident,
disaster and pestilence. Declare that you are protected in Jesus’
name.
Thank God that your should has escaped from the snare of the fowler
and that you are secured in Christ.

DAY 3 - CHURCH GROWTH
Pray that EWG will grow numerically and in strength in the dust of
persecution and attacks against the Church
Pray that God will raise and stir the hearts of people to preach His
Word to the Souls he had prepared for us
Pray that as we embark on outreach and soul winning the Word of
God will produce fruits that will remain and be established.
Pray for the grace to reach out to people of high status in society,
politicians, the royal family, academics, celebrities, businessmen etc.
Pray that through the preaching of God’s Word He will miraculously
brings souls from all around.
COMMANDING GREAT MULTITUDE INTO EWG. [Luke 11:29, 4:42;
Haggai 1:14; Psalm 23:1-2; Isaiah 27:6]
We decree that great multitude begin to seek and find Edinburgh in
the name of Jesus Christ.
We command the spirits, souls and bodies of great multitude in the
land of Edinburgh and its environs to be stirred up to attend all our
services en mass in the name of Jesus Christ. We command the
establishment of great multitude in our services in the name of Jesus
Christ.

EWG OUTREACHES
Pray and call out the names of cities and towns in the UK and ask
God to deliver them to us for revival
Pray for those that are being commissioned on the mission field, that
God will cast out any spirit of fear and will grant them boldness for
the establishment of His agenda
Pray that God will give us favour with the people and open the hearts
of people in the various cities and towns.
Pray for EWG on Campus, that God will raise people for His agenda
from the universities. Pray that they will be used to subdue the forces
of this land and that they will be used to carry and pass the revival to
the next generation.

Pray for divine preservation and protection as we go out on the
mission field, laws will be favourable to us, and the influence of the
enemy will be stopped.

Spread of the Revival
Pray that the gospel will spread across the nations as Jesus spoke
Pray that there will be an awakening in churches worldwide towards
the agenda of Christ
Pray that the men of God around the world will receive the boldness
to speak the Word of God fully
Pray that God will turn the hearts of His people towards Him once
again

DAY 4 - TAKING TERRITORIES, KINGDOM
SERVICE
Pray that God will continue to deliver and empower EWG as a Church
to breakthrough every limitation and stronghold as we take new
territories.
Pray against any anti-harvest forces that the enemy is sending to
plunder EWG as a Church and also make EWG about the vision and
purpose of God for us as a Church.
Pray that God will grant you a heart of service for the Kingdom
Pray for the the grace to be consistent in your service in God’s house
Pray that God will use you as an agent of Revival and growth in the
EWG commission and in God’s Kingdom
Pray that you will remain faithful and committed in the things of God
and that you will not look back.
Pray against any distraction that has the ability to cut short your
destiny in God’s Kingdom.

Pray for the Spirit of unity, reconciliation and oneness of heart for
every family in our Church.
Declare that I come against any form of envy, anger, bitterness and
strife; declare that the spirit of forgiveness is at work in every family
in EWG.
Declare I command every altar of failure, shame, poverty,
retrogression and disappointment be shattered in Jesus’ name.

Ask God for strength to deal with anything from your past that
constantly harasses you and deprives you of your peace. Declare your
freedom from negative habits and associations.
In the Name of Jesus, declare that God is doing something new in
your life that will spring forth for all eyes to see.
By faith I declare an end to every form of barrens; and receive a new
lease life and fruitfulness in all my endeavours. (Job 14:9)

DAY 5 - EWG LEADERSHIP
Pray that the EWG leadership will be remembered as the mighty men
whom David raised
Pray that the leadership shall be united and not divide concerning the
work of the ministry
Pray against any spirit of Joab amongst leadership
Pray that they will continue to faithfully serve as representatives of
the willow God in EWG
Pray against the spirit of Ahitophel, which is attracted to those who
rebel against the servant of God.
Pray that our man of God will not lack any measure of the Spirit,
Honour or Favour before God and men.
Pray for protection over God’s servant and everyone/everything that
pertains to his peace
Pray for the divine wisdom operating in the mentors of our man of
God to manifest mightily in the life of the apostle
Pray that God’s anointing will fight and speak for apostle against
those who hate him.

FOLLOWING THE LEADER

Pray for grace to own the vision of the house and that you will see it
as your own
Pray that you will not seek your own interests but pursue the
assignment of God for EWG through His servant, Apostle Justice
Kwawu
Pray for grace to flee and reject the works of the flesh that distract
you from the vision of EWG Ministries, such as gossiping, backbiting,
negative acquaintances and idle conversations
Pray that you will not deviate from or rebel against the vision that
God has given His servant for EWG
Pray that you will not lose sight of the vision God has for EWG,
Revival
Pray that this year, 2017, you will have a sacrificial heart and attitude
towards your dedication to EWG and your unbridled commitment will
reach another level

DAY 6 - DIVINE HELP
Pray that God will send divine help to you in times of trouble. In your
darkest moment God will orchestrate help from above
Pray that God will supernaturally change your circumstances for
good. Ask God to divinely intervene in the situation.
Pray for household deliverance, that God will save your family from
any kind of atrocities. That you will enjoy household salvation.
Pray for supernatural provision , divine supply, open heavens over
your life as you pursue God.
Pray that God will give you the grace to be able to contend for the
faith. Where you find yourself weak, God should strengthen you.
Ask the Lord to renew your strength and make you valiant according
to His might to overcome any spirit of confinement. Pray and break
every barrier of stagnation that hinders the achievement of your set
goals for this year.
Ask God to open your eyes to see unlimited possibilities. Declare that
by faith you have received boldness and confidence from Him to do
greater works.
Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to life you above the limitations of your
past and the weakness from your background. Call forth your every
buried divine abilities in you to come up in Jesus name. (2Samuel
22:30)
Bless the Lord for His faithfulness to prosper His thoughts and plans
towards you. Praise Him for the fulfilment of each one of them in this
month.
Give thanks to God for the blessing of a brand new season of favour, a
new beginning, new doors of opportunity, new understanding and a
fresh anointing for your next level in life.
Thank the Lord for His forgiveness, healing and deliverance thought
the first half of the year. Pray that His great mercies will continue to
abound towards you and your family. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

DAY 7 FINANCIAL LIFTING & EMPOWERMENT
Pray that this year all your efforts will yield miraculous results.
Pray that God will make you a channel of help to many people
through financial lifting.
Pray that God will help you to excel in the grace of giving so that you
can break out of financial limitations.
Pray and invoke the hand of God against the Midianite spirit - which
operates as an anti-harvest spirit in your life. Pray that nothing will
prevent you from reaping your goodly harvest.
Pray for God to find pleasure in empowering you to prosper financially
Pray for the grace to generate wealth
Pray for the grace to be a financial blessing to your Church and your
generation
Pray for the grace to be financially empowered without compromising
at the expense of your ministry and destiny.

Pray for that you will walk in the favour of God and man
Declare that your helpers will never deny you of help because you
carry the favour of God
Pray that you become a direct beneficiary of the favour upon the EWG
commission
Declare that by the end of this year the favour of God on your life has
resulted into strange elevation, breakthrough and open doors.
Pray that the Lord will turn the heart of every person who has
purposed to deny you favour.

DAY 9 HONOUR & APOSTLE JUSTICE KWAWU
Pray and repent if you done anything to dishonour God’s servant or
any figure of authority in your life, where feasible make restitution
Pray that God will give you the grace to act in obedience to honour
His servant, so the it will be well with you and your descendants.
Pray that as a Church God will give us understanding and revelation
of how to honour God’s servant so we do not miss out on what God
has in store for the house.

Pray and ask God for the grace to stay away from anything and
anyone that will cause you to dishonour God’s servant and what we
stand for as a commission.
Pray and ask God to work on your heart that your honour will not
just be on a surface level but will be heart born and genuine
Pray that God’s honour will remain on EWG, and this honour will
bring in the harvest.

God’s Servant
Praying for supernatural strength, inner tenacity to go the long haul.
Grace to sustain the move of God, that he will not be weary and
discouraged at any point so far as this revival is concern
Pray that God will distinguish him from the others by clothing him
with the invisible garment of glory, the Holy Spirit
Pray for divine protection over his life, family and ministry. That the
protection of God be doubled around him and any other thing that
pertains to him
Pray against any group of person(s) or institutions who are planning
evil against God’s Servant and the move of God (The Revival) out of
jealousy or envy, let the judgement of God come upon them and their

Pray that God will give you a heart for radical soul winning for the
upcoming Jesus Campaign
Pray that God will use you as His agent to win souls for the Kingdom
Pray that as we go out for soul winning during Jesus Campaign, God
will confirm His Word through accompanying signs and wonders
Pray that through Jesus Campaign, the Word of God will grow
mightily and prevail in our land
Pray that people will be cut to the heart as they hear the gospel, that
Christ will be revealed and that many will repent and be saved
Pray that there will be joy in every City we find ourselves in during
Jesus Campaign
Pray that all souls won for the Kingdom will go on to become disciples
for the Kingdom
Pray that through 1B1S campaign, EWG will experience radical
church growth

DAY 11 SENSITIVITY TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit
Pray for grace to create an atmosphere that make sensitive to the
Holy Spirit easy
Pray that you will hear the directions of the Holy Spirit in every area
of your life
Pray that you will not be disobedient to the directions of the Holy
Spirit in any area of your life
Ask God to give you a willing heart. A heart that will obey him in all
things to His glory
Cancel any contrary voice to the will of God in your life

Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you up to the point where you can
confront the powers that be in this land, in this our day of power

will begin to be manifest in this season
Pray for the Holy Spirit to rest upon you so you can do exploits that
will liberate others
Pray that EWG will be recognised as a church empowered by the Holy
Spirit not by tantalising words from learned men

DAY 12 EWG MARRIAGES & CHILDREN AND
YOUNG PEOPLE
Pray that God will continue to give our children encounters, so that
they will have the boldness to stand for Christ and will drive down
revival in their schools
Pray for the EWG Kids, that they will not become encumbered by the
things of this world
Pray that the EWG Kids will have the boldness to walk away from
negative influences. Pray that they will never suffer abuse or bullying
Pray and ask God to deliver them from the hands of people who will
cut short their potential and attempt to hinder their destiny.
Pray for the grace for EWG children to excel in life and enjoy strange
favour. Ask God to give them unique gifting and the grace for unique
inventions
Pray that God will surround EWG Kids with people who will direct
and guide them into the path of destiny.

DECREEING PEACE AND TRANQUILITY OVER YOUR MARRIAGE

I bind the spirit of conflicts and quarrels released against my
marriage and entire family now and in the future in the name of
Jesus Christ.
I decree the manifestation of my marital destiny and that of everyone

keep out satanic perversions.

Leaders in our Country
Pray for wisdom and boldness for the Government and the leaders of
this country
Pray that God will strategically place His people in positions of
influence to forward His agenda.
Pray for the preservation of Christians in positions of power and
influence in this nation and also the boldness to speak the truth
Pray that Apostle Justice Kwawu and EWG will find favour with
National Leaders for the furtherance of the Gospel

Pray that Holy Spirit help me to guard my heart against offence,

Lord I pray for Christ-like boldness to shut the door to temptation
and walk in the paths of sanctification and holiness.
I declare that as I diligently pursue His Kingdom and His
righteousness, I will experience life, favour, blessings and honour.
Thank God for this month of consecration; ask Him for grace to fast
effectively.
Pray that God’s grace strengthens me and causes me to prevail over
every hindrance to your prayer and fasting. (Joel 2:15, 19)

DAY 14 OVERCOMING STRONGHOLDS (in the UK
& PERSONAL LIFE)
Pray and destroy every time-sensitive plan of the devil against God’s
agenda for EWG in this land of UK
Dismantle demonic alliances responsible for decisions and decrees

Pray and remove human agents of the enemy who occupy positions of
influence in this land
Pray and break the three fold alliance among the Spirit of the
Thames, the Spirit of Freemasonry and the Spirit of Britannia that
fights the Church in this land
Pray and destroy demonic altars that form the power base of the
wicked in this land

Overcoming Personal Stronghold
Pray and deal with any private attitude/sins or weight that easily
ensnares and seems to slow you down in this season of revival
Pray for divine protection against household witchcraft, wickedness
and malicious activities intended to stop you from getting to your
place of blessing, fulfilment and divine provision
Pray against evil tongues; tongues that make declarations,
incantations, predictions against your family and future
Pray for total recovery of every lost ground, lost opportunity and
blessing as a result of household wickedness
Pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your life and that Christ
may dwell in you richly, and the fire of the Holy Spirit will burn in
your heart and give you an unquenchable zeal

your family, loved ones and in your personal life
Pray for a grateful heart which will trigger thankfulness to God at all
times and in all situations in your life, especially when you go
through difficult times
Thank God for His past acts. By so doing, you will provoke and move
His hand to meet you at your present needs in strange ways
