Founded in August 1, 1958, SMA Negeri 8 Jakarta is Creating high quality graduates in the aspects of
well known for its highly competitive admission personality, academics and non-academics of
process, achievements in science competitions such international standard
as the National Science Olympiad, and an excellent
performance of its students in the Indonesian public
university entrance examination. The school has been
ranked as one of the best high schools in the country
for multiple times, and recently ranked 4th nationally
and 2nd highest in Jakarta province based on the
average score on National University Placement Test
(UTBK) 2020.
