QUALIFICATIONS
1a. Doctorate or equivalent degree or 3 years research experience in
Physics/Chemistry/Metallurgy or Material Engg./Ceramic Engg. - upper age
limit 45 years.
Desirable : Experience in Synthesis and Characterization of Nano-materials
will be preferred.
1b. M.Sc. in Physics with Ist Class or 2nd Class (not below 55%) B.Tech. in
Metallurgy/ Material Engg. with constantly good academic record having two
years experience of working in the area of Solid State Condensed
Matter/Material Science Nanoscience will be preferred - upper age limit 32
years.
2a. M.Sc. in Physics with 55% marks and working experience in the area of
Carbon Nano-materials - upper age limit 28 years.
3a. M.Sc. in Physics with Ist Class or High 2nd Class (not below 55%) B.Tech.
in Metallurgy/ Material Engg./Ceramic Engg. with constantly good academic
record having two years experience of working in the area of Solid State
Condensed Matter/Material Science/Electronics/Nanoscience will be
preferred - upper age limit 32 years.
3b. M.Sc. in Physics with 55% marks and specialization in Condensed
Matter/Material Science/Electronics - upper age limit 28 years.
3c. B.Sc. with working knowledge of 4 years in project dealing with Science
/Engg./Material - upper age limit 32 years
3d. High School and one year trade certificate from recognized institute - upper
age limit 35 years.
3e. I.Sc. or equivalent examination and having experience of working the
laboratory/workshop/ computer handling will be preferable
(Physical/Engineering/Medical) - upper age limit 35 years.
4a. Graduate with good academic records and with working experience of 3
years in a project and doing computer typing etc. - upper age limit 35 years.
Note :
1. 5 years age relaxation for female SC/ST, Physically handicapped candidates.
2. For positions at S.N. 3d & 3e upper age limit may be relaxed for earlier work
in project etc. in B.H.U.
