Reflective Writing 1: MBTI Personality types

Pt 1: Group/Team Reflection Exercise (Week 3 assessment)

The WS2 Task (last week) was: Group profile and teamwork
Create a group interactive video (role play, formal meeting, song, dance, rap etc) that will
demonstrate – and communicate – your understanding of your group profiles and how this
knowledge could improve your ability to work together as a team.

Week 3 RW1 assessment: After reflecting on and discussing the completion of your WS2 group
video task, write a 500-word (+/- 10%, but NOT including the 75 words of headings) Team
Reflection.
Use the following structure:

1.Describe the focus of the reflection. What was the objective you set out to achieve? Did you
achieve this objective? (20%)

2.Why did the team achieve/ not achieve your objectives? What challenges did you face?
How did you overcome these challenges? (20%)

3.What have the team learned from this? (20%)

4.What changes could you make to improve the way you work as a team – with this team
and, learning from this, with future teams? (40%)

NOTE: The Group/Team Reflection Exercises should be posted as sub-pages of your

group/team’s Video Presentations page.

Pt 2: Individual Reflective Writing (contributes to your Assessment 2

Portfolio)
Last week’s WS2 individual task included: Write a short (100 words), concise summary of what
areas you should change to improve your effectiveness as a learner.
For Reflective Writing 1 (individual exercise), use the Personal Reflective Writing Template:
RW1 – MBTI (see Moodle) and expand last week’s 100 words concise summary to a more
comprehensive 250 words. There are equal marks available for each section.
NOTE: The Individual Reflective Writing should be posted as a sub-page of your group/team’s
Video Presentations page.
