AFFIDAVIT

I, Dr. SAURODEEP BHATTACHARJEE, S/o Somorat Bhattacharjee, aged about 25

years, residing at No. No. 601 Delta Forest Edge, 2nd Cross, Behind Apollo Hospital,
Panduranganagar, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore South, Bangalore, Karnataka - 560076
Bengaluru, Karnataka – 560096, do hereby solemnly affirm and state on oath as follows:-
1. I State that I am a doctor and have completed my M.B.B.S in December 2021from DR. B.R
Ambedkar Medical College, Kadugondanahalli, Bangalore – 560045, affiliated to Rajiv
Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore, Karnataka

2. I state that I am aware of Karnataka Compulsory Service Training by candidates completed

Medical Course Act 2012 (hereinafter the “Impugned Act”) and the rules there under passed
by Karnataka State Legislature

3. I state that I am also aware that Hon’ble High Court Of Karnataka at Bangalore vide order
dated 06-10-2015 in W.P 40566/2015 and connected matters has stayed the operation of the
Impugned Act and also all further proceedings, orders, actions, notifications including the
rules etc., pursuant the said act

4. I further, submit that the Hon’ble High Court Of Karnataka vide its order dated 28-04-2016
in W.P. No. 25391/2016 as directed the concerned authorities to issue the appropriate degree
to the eligible candidates. Further, the Hon’ble High Court has directed the Karnataka
Medical Council to grant registration certificate to the eligible students or doctors subject to
result of the aforementioned Writ Petition contingent upon the said candidates / doctors
filing an affidavit before the Karnataka Medical Council that they will abide by the order
which may be passed in W.P.No.40566/2015 and connected matters, without demure i.e., to
comply with the provisions of the Impugned Act (Karnataka Act No.26 of 2015) in the event
of failure in the aforementioned Writ Petition

5. I would immediately report to the compulsory training/counseling organized either by

Directorate Of Medical Education or by the Health and Family Commissionarate failing
which the competent authority would be at liberty to invoke the bond executed at the time of
admission
