Additionally, the kids are permitted to bring their own books provided by the SM Foundation and
the event's sponsors. Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their Families; SM Cares established
The Global Pinoy Center to assist families of OFWs (GPC). The GPC provides free telephone
services, BDO Remittance Pick-up services, and Foreign Exchange services as a "one-stop service
hub." Families are also taught how to use social networking sites and various chat and voice
application applications to stay in touch with their relatives who live abroad.
To further improve their plight, SM partnered with various government agencies and private
institutions to benefit the OFWs and their families, including NGOs that give seminars on
how to manage their money and start a business.

SM Prime Holding's Ethical Issues

Ethical problems in a business should be avoided. Henry Sy owns SM, the largest location where
you can ramble or purchase anything you desire. The business ran into some ethical problems,
which they resolved by enforcing their policies and regulations. Conflicts of interest, supplier
selection, and accepting gifts are a few challenges in reference to ethical issues. Conflicts of
interest arise when directors and employees are prohibited from engaging in transactions with
the company, such as loans, and directors are unable to attend or participate in board meetings,
which they should avoid and disclose any financial or personal benefits they may receive from
any transaction involving SMPH. brought right away to Management's attention. Then, when
choosing a supplier, they may have trouble deciding whom to choose, and the company upholds
the values of fair dealing, equal opportunity, and healthy competition. Finally, accepting presents
is something that directors, officers, and employees of the firm are forbidden from doing because
they normally request some things from suppliers, which is something that should be avoided.
