History
and
Origins
Mid- 1990s, feminism had its “third wave”. It
was led by members of the so-called
Generation X, who were born in the
developed world in the 1960s and 1970s and
grew up in a media-saturated, culturally and
economically diversified environment.
CHARACTERISTICS THAT
MAKE IT CULTURE
One of the aspects of sexual
harassment that contributes to
the development of its culture is
unwanted sexual conduct. This
conduct can take many forms. It
takes place when a person
insults or makes fun of another
individual based on variables
such as their race, religion, color,
or any other trait. In addition to
this, it is unacceptable for either
men or women to be treated
differently on the basis of their
sexual health or the gender to
which they belong.

Impacts to
society
They limit people's life, cause pain, and
have a negative impact on society and
communities. Serious difficulties, especially
for women, include sexual assault and
harassment. Women with disabilities are
more likely to report being assaulted than
women without impairments.
OVERALL SIGNIFICANCE
Everybody deserves respect whatever their personalities are.
Men and women are both human beings, it’s just that society,
most of the time creates boulder to divide their capabilities.
Feminism (specifically 3rd wave in 1991) created a movement for
equal rights towards men and women. Through this movement,
people are becoming more open when it comes to the things that
women can do that men cannot, and what men can do that
women cannot. Feminism is an eye-opener especially for people
that are conservative in culture to widen their understanding in
terms of opportunities and rights for everyone.
