What you will need

o Access to a printer and copy paper to print out the template.
o Thin card (300gsm) is ideal. Corrugated card is not suitable.
o Double-sided tape or fast drying glue that will s�ck paper and card.
o Scissors or a cra� knife. Tip: I suggest using either double

How to print the patterns

Print the template in full size on A4 (210mm x 297mm) or US Le�er (8½" X 11") paper. Check your printer se�ngs
to make sure you have selected ‘Actual size’ and not ‘Fit’, and that you print one sided. The line in the first page,
should measure 100mm, if you have printed the template correctly.

Assemble the mask

Trim the extra paper roughly around each piece of the template, so you can arrange them on the card making
most effec�ve use of it.
Glue the pieces to the card. Remember that the template will be on the inside of the mask a�er you fold and glue
the pieces together. Do not glue the template for pieces 9 and 10 (ears) on the cardboard, as they will be visible on
the inside. Trace them instead or hold them in place temporarily with some tape.
Cut out the pieces along the solid outlines. Do not cut the dashed lines. The dashed lines represent valley folds (in
red) and the dashed with dots lines (in blue) represent mountain folds.

Decorate
Make your mask unique by decora�ng it. The possibili�es are endless. You can use different coloured cards for the
whole mask or for different pieces. You can paint the mask using spray paint or acrylics or you can glue any other
decora�ons on it, from gli�er to feathers and fabric.
