A New Beginning with Resilience and Compassion

Early morning classes and duties, congested highways, and wearing of school uniforms often

make people irritated or upset before pandemic. But this time, these have brought back memories that

have served as a constant reminder that they have travelled a long way to get into this normal situation

again. After two years of being confined at their homes just in front of their gadget screens and doing

virtual meetings, students, professors, and administrators are welcomed back to school by the

refreshing and positive atmosphere of Rogationist College (RC) for the school year 2022-2023.

Indeed, everyone must be willing to withstand the storm to enjoy and cherish the rainbow that

follows. The transition of RC from remote classes to face-to-face classes has allowed each student to

form stronger personal bonds with their professors, classmates, and schoolmates, and they believe that

learning gaps from online classes will be filled again throughout this school year by helping one another

with resiliency and compassion.

However, if students and professors can attend school without taking a bath or having breakfast

during the online classes, they must be well-prepared and have a heavy breakfast meal to survive and be

properly dressed for school now. Students who have previously used their phones during online lessons

are not permitted to do so in the current learning system as a sign of respect to the professor and to

guarantee that each student is focused on their studies with integrity and perseverance. There may be

several adjustments to be taken again but those changes will be easier since RCians are made stronger,

better, and wiser after all the tough battles encountered during the two school years of distance

learning.

For RCians, switching from online to face-to-face education was once just a dream, especially

when they felt isolated in their rooms and under pressure from their online activities and performances.

It is the moment that everyone has hoped for and has been granted by the grace of God. Thus,  RCians
must once again be willing to face the difficulties posed by this traditional learning system and

experience its positive aspects, which include creating precious memories with those around them

while learning in their academics and being shaped as a true RCian with a gentle and pure heart.
