Design:

PWC of Davao has a long-running community extension initiative called the PWCares Program,
which has evolved into a creative, fair-trade, and social entrepreneurship outreach program
known as PWCares+. This was our immediate commitment to your communities, providing
them with the skills and opportunity to create business models as well as capacity and
capability development for enterprise incubation in their very own communities and adopted
other communities.

Results:

Graph A: Contributions of PWCares + for poverty reduction among beneficiaries.

The graph illustrates PWCares+'s contribution to ANC recipients' poverty reduction through
several programs that give children's assistance, education, sufficient food, and additional
family income, along with work employment. According to the findings, 33 percent of the
participants evaluated very highly attained as the highest rate, followed by 27 percent for highly
obtained response and 22 percent for responding attained. Only 13% said they were
"moderately attained," and 5% said they weren't.
Food Processing

Food processing is a set of procedures and techniques for transforming raw materials into
finished and semi-finished products, and it has several advantages. The procedures don't
require any expensive or specialist equipment and they may be done at home or in small
enterprises. Juicing, meat curing, and frying are some of the processes we demonstrate.

Graph B: Sustainability of PWCares + Food Processing Program

In this section, sustainability is defined as the proper application and management of acquired
abilities through a home-based business that allows a group to learn and earn also while
sharing the obtained skills with others. According to the graph, 33 percent of respondents
replied very high attained in the area of characterizing the sustainability of the food processing
program through the PWCares+ activities, which is the highest response. The 22 percent of
participants who answered highly attained came in second, followed by the 19 percent of those
surveyed who answered attained. Nearly 14% of those polled said they were moderately
successful, while 13% said they were not.

Objective of the program aims to create a fair trade-accredited network for the manufacturing
of COVID -19 protective apparel and supplemental food, FDA-licensed operators and
community-based product and service providers are ready to meet demand in the Davao
Region and beyond; creating and administering an organic entrepreneurial program as a long-
term COVID-19 social advocacy initiative that empowers PWC of Davao stakeholders and their
immediate constituents; and sustain the Philwomenian educational mission of community
engagement and leadership training. .

This section is concerned with providing training manuals and videos to participants and
respondents that support the practice of starting a home-based business, as well as providing
training materials and a research-based patented food product to sustain improvement and
sharing of experiences through online engagement.

In the graph, the respondent who answered very highly attained got the highest percentage of
38 percent, followed by 24 percent who responded highly attained, 18 percent who responded
attained, 11 percent who responded moderately attained, and 9 percent who claimed not
attained.

COVID - The global pandemic of COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our lives. It has had
an influence on the "new normal." The degree of resiliency with which any of us can continue
to press on is vital to our survival. While the continuing crisis continues to pose a significant
concern to our food security, health, and well-being, we would like to not only learn more
about the situation, but also generate possibilities in the midst of it.

Graph D: Positive Values acquired among the beneficiaries and other partners
The major focus of this section is to educate the community about the benefits of food
processing and to encourage them to succeed by sharing their newly acquired knowledge and
abilities. The graph shows that 31% said they were very highly attained, followed by 26% who
said they were highly attained, 19% who said they were attained, 17% who said they were
moderately attained, and 7% who said they were not attained.
