Muhammad and Incest

ZAINAB
Muhammad's Daughter in Law

One day Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam, walked into his adopted son Zaid’s
house. Zaid was not there but he caught a glimpse of his voluptuous and beautiful
wife Zainab.
Zainab, Muhammad’s daughter in law, was in her birthday suit.
The admiration aroused him instantly, which Zainab also noticed and mentioned it
to her husband Zaid later.

Tafsir al-Tabari 21755 ‫ﺗﻔﺴﯿﺮ اﻟﻄﺒﺮي‬

‫ ﻛﺎن اﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ ﻗﺪ زوج زﯾﺪ‬: ‫ ﻗﺎل اﺑﻦ زﯾﺪ‬: ‫ ﻗﺎل‬, ‫ أﺧﺒﺮﻧﺎ اﺑﻦ وھﺐ‬: ‫ ﻗﺎل‬, ‫ ﺣﺪﺛﻨﻲ ﯾﻮﻧﺲ‬-21755
‫ ﻓﺨﺮج رﺳﻮل ﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ ﯾﻮﻣﺎ ﯾﺮﯾﺪه وﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﺒﺎب ﺳﺘﺮ ﻣﻦ‬, ‫ اﺑﻨﺔ ﻋﻤﺘﮫ‬, ‫ﺑﻦ ﺣﺎرﺛﺔ زﯾﻨﺐ ﺑﻨﺖ ﺟﺤﺶ‬
‫ ﻓﻮﻗﻊ إﻋﺠﺎﺑﮭﺎ ﻓﻲ ﻗﻠﺐ اﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ‬, ‫ وھﻲ ﻓﻲ ﺣﺠﺮﺗﮭﺎ ﺣﺎﺳﺮة‬, ‫ ﻓﺮﻓﻌﺖ اﻟﺮﯾﺢ اﻟﺴﺘﺮ ﻓﺎﻧﻜﺸﻒ‬, ‫ﺷﻌﺮ‬

Translation:

21755 - "..One day Muhammad went out looking for Zaid. Now there was a
covering of hair cloth over the doorway, but the wind had lifted the covering so that
the doorway was uncovered. Zainab was in her chamber, undressed, and
admiration for her entered the heart of the Prophet.."

Zaid rushed to his father’s house and offered Zainab to him.

Muhammad worried about possible bad press and refused to accept it.
But Allah will not take no for an answer and insisted on their union
by revealing, as usual, some ayas (verses)

‫ج ﻓِﻲ أ َ ْز َواجِ أَ ْد ِﻋﯿَﺎﺋِ ِﮭ ْﻢ‬ َ َ‫ﻓَﻠَ ﱠﻤﺎ ﻗَﻀَﻰ َز ْﯾ ٌﺪ ِ ّﻣ ْﻨﮭَﺎ َو َطﺮاً َز ﱠوﺟْ َﻨﺎ َﻛﮭَﺎ ِﻟﻜ َْﻲ َﻻ َﯾﻜُﻮن‬
ٌ ‫ﻋ َﻠﻰ ا ْﻟ ُﻤﺆْ ِﻣﻨِﯿﻦَ ﺣ ََﺮ‬

But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her,

We gave her to you as a wife,
so that there should be no difficulty for the believers
in respect of the wives of their adopted sons.

Qur'an 33:37

 Feeling the need to justify his intervention,
Allah reveals another verse in which he simply
cancels the adoption of Zaid by Muhammad!!!

ً ‫ﻋ ِﻠﯿﻤﺎ‬ ‫�ِ َو َﺧﺎﺗ َ َﻢ اﻟﻨﱠ ِﺒ ِﯿّﯿﻦَ َوﻛَﺎنَ ﱠ‬

َ ٍ‫�ُ ِﺑ ُﻜ ِ ّﻞ ﺷ َْﻲء‬ ُ ‫ﱠﻣﺎ ﻛَﺎنَ ُﻣ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٌﺪ أَﺑَﺎ أَ َﺣ ٍﺪ ِ ّﻣﻦ ِ ّرﺟَﺎ ِﻟ ُﻜ ْﻢ َوﻟَ ِﻜﻦ ﱠر‬
‫ﺳﻮ َل ﱠ‬

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men,

but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Last of the prophets;
and Allah is cognizant of all things.

Qur'an 33:40

KHAULA
Muhammad's Aunt

A woman named Khaula Bint Hakim gave herself to Muhammad, the Prophet of
Islam, for sexual pleasure (He did not marry her).

Sahih al-Bukhari 4823 ‫ﺻﺤﯿﺢ اﻟﺒﺨﺎرى‬

‫ﻛﺎﻧﺖ ﺧﻮﻟﺔ ﺑﻨﺖ ﺣﻜﯿﻢ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻼﺋﻲ وھﺒﻦ أﻧﻔﺴﮭﻦ ﻟﻠﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ‬

Khaula bint Hakim was one of those ladies who presented themselves to the Prophet

But Allah came to the rescue and approved this relation (with Khaula) by revealing,
as usual, some ayas (verses).

َ ‫ﺗ ُْﺮ ِﺟﻲ َﻣﻦ ﺗَﺸَﺎء ِﻣ ْﻨ ُﮭﻦﱠ َوﺗ ُﺆْ ِوي إِ َﻟ ْﯿﻚَ َﻣﻦ ﺗَﺸَﺎء َو َﻣ ِﻦ ا ْﺑﺘَﻐَﯿْﺖَ ِﻣ ﱠﻤ ْﻦ ﻋ ََﺰ ْﻟﺖَ ﻓَ َﻼ ُﺟﻨَﺎ َح‬
َ‫ﻋ َﻠ ْﯿﻚ‬

You may put off whom you please of them,

and you may take to you whom you please,
and whom you desire of those whom you had separated provisionally;
no blame attaches to you;

Qur'an 33:51

But, who was this woman Khaula?

Khaula Bint Hakim was Muhammad’s maternal aunt, the sister of his mother.

Musnad Ahmad 26768 ‫ﻣﺴﻨﺪ أﺣﻤﺪ‬

‫أن ﺧﻮﻟﺔ ﺑﻨﺖ ﺣﻜﯿﻢ اﻟﺴﻠﻤﯿﺔ وھﻲ إﺣﺪى ﺧﺎﻻت اﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ ﺳﺄﻟﺖ اﻟﻨﺒﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ ﻋﻦ‬
‫اﻟﻤﺮأة ﺗﺤﺘﻠﻢ ﻓﻘﺎل رﺳﻮل ﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ ﻟﺘﻐﺘﺴﻞ‬

Translation:

26768 - "..Khaula Bint Hakim al-Salmiya, who was one of the prophet's maternal
aunts, ..asked the prophet about the woman having a wet dream, he said she should
wash herself.."

FATIMA
Muhammad's Daughter

Muhammad used to suck on the tongue of his own daughter Fatima.

Fayd al Kadeer, Al Mennaoui v.5, # 7178 - 7178 # ،5.‫ﻓﯿﺾ اﻟﻘﺪﯾﺮ ﻟﻠﻤﻨﺎوى ج‬

‫ )ﻛﺎن ﯾﻤﺺ اﻟﻠﺴﺎن( أي ﯾﻤﺺ ﻟﺴﺎن ﺣﻼﺋﻠﮫ و ﻛﺬا اﺑﻨﺘﮫ ﻓﻘﺪ ﺟﺎء ﻓﻲ ﺣﺪﯾﺚ أﻧﮫ ﻛﺎن ﯾﻤﺺ ﻟﺴﺎن ﻓﺎطﻤﺔ و ﻟﻢ‬- 7178
‫ﯾﺮوا ﻣﺜﻠﮫ ﻓﻲ ﻏﯿﺮھﺎ ﻣﻦ ﺑﻨﺎﺗﮫ و ھﺬا اﻟﺤﺪﯾﺚ رواه اﻟﺤﺎﻓﻆ‬

Translation:

He (Muhammad) used to suck on the tongue of (his daughter) Fatima.

.‫ وﻓﻲ رواﯾﺔ ﺣﺘﻰ ﯾﻘﺒﻞ ﻋﺮض وﺟﻨﺔ ﻓﺎطﻤﺔ أو ﺑﯿﻦ ﺛﺪﯾﯿﮭﺎ‬،‫وﺟﮭﮫ ﺑﯿﻦ ﺛﺪﯾﻲ ﻓﺎطﻤﺔ وﯾﺪﻋﻮ ﻟﮭﺎ‬

Translation:

He (Muhammad) would not sleep until he kissed Fatima's forehead and nuzzled his
face between her breasts.
