 Getting patient’s vital sign is a common practice among medical
professional, and plays a key role in patient’s health and clinical
outcomes. It is important to get patient’s vital signs it’s because
vital sign gives baseline if the patient is healthy, and it can help
to determine abnormalities to the patient’s body, which the
physician can plan or decide how to cure its patient’s illness or
disease depending how serious the condition.

2. Define the following: PYREXIA, BRADYCARDIA,


RESPIRATION, BLOOD PRESSURE (2 pts each)
 PYREXIA is the abnormal elevation of body temperature.
BRADYCARDIA is a condition where heart beats fewer than 60
times per minute, which is unusually slow. RESPERATION is a
process in living organisms involving the production of energy,
typically with the intake of oxygen and the release of carbon
dioxide from the oxidation of complex organic substances.
BLOOD PRESSURE is a pressure in the circulatory system,
which is used to measure for diagnosis as it is closely related to
the rate of the heartbeat.
