The current presidency in the Philippines I would say is quite peaceful, though there are many words

of corruption in some matters, I would agree with that. But I'm sure It's only for the benefit of our
country, like; Our President Roa Rodrigo Duterte requesting an alliance with our neighboring
country, China.
There's much backlash towards this decision, and I believed this too, judging how China has tried
many times to convince the Filipinos' the West Sulu Sea was theirs and that the Philippines was just
another one of their Provinces' I'm sure you would too. But if you really consider it, our President has
made the right move to arrange an alliance, because if we were to go against China, we would surely
lose, and there could also be a chance that we would go back to being colonized except by China. Of
course, I know nothing about our President's plans I just wanted to share my opinions on this issue.
Though I do think our President has also made decisions that wouldn't benefit us as much, like; the
controversy regarding the "War on illegal Drugs" many people disagree on this choice, there were
many arguments, like this affecting their Human Rights. These opinions and thoughts of these people
could heavily affect the President and his decisions, these opinions by others could also change the
mind-set of our President, which could lead to something terrible in our countries' case because our
President was voted for a reason. And that's because he can handle problems properly and has a
mindset of a leader. He considers others' opinions and takes them to note, and tries and keep the
country at its' best state.
