THE HABITS OF GUJARATIS
IN GUJARAT, PEOPLE START LEARNING THE BUSINESS FROM A YOUNG AGE [DANDHO,
SETHIYA]. THIS QUOTE IS A SAYING THAT READS, "WHY NOT OPEN A SHOP WHILE STUDYING
FOR A MIDDLE-CLASS MANAGER?" THEY GIVE EDUCATION ABOUT BUSINESS BY SAYING THAT
JEEVAN MA KAEKA MOTU KARVO CHE[ MEANING- I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING BIG IN LIFE] AND
THEIR CHILDREN ARE GROWN IN THIS BEAUTIFUL QUOTE. GUJARAT YOUTH KNOW THAT NO
RISK NO REWARD. જીવનમાં કં ઈક મોટું કરવું હોય તો રિસ્ક લેવોજ પડે [ IF YOU WANT TO DO
SOMETHING BIG IN LIFE, YOU HAVE TO TAKE A RISK.] THE DEFINITION OF GUJARATI IS THAT
THOSE WHO BUY PRODUCTS FROM MARWARI AND SELL THEM TO SINDDHI BY DOING THIS
ALSO GET MONEY. WE CAN'T SAY THEY ARE MISERS BUT WE CAN SAY COST OPTIMISING.
THEIR WHOLE LIFE THEY ARE MINIMISING SHOPPING ON ONLINE THEY WANT TO BUY ON
ONLINE WHEN THERE IS A DISCOUNT. IF THEY WANT A DISCOUNT FROM THE SHOPKEEPER
THEY TRIED THEIR BEST FOR A DISCOUNT, BUT THEY TAKE DISCOUNTS IN LOVING LANGUAGE
AND NOT BELIEVE IN FIGHT AND QUARRELS .
તમે તમારું પોતાનું સ્વપ્ન બના વો નહીં તો કોઈ બીજું તેનું સ્વપ્ન બનાવવા માટે ભાડે લેશે
[YOU BUILD YOUR DREAM OTHERWISE SOMEBODY ELSE WILL HIRE TO
BUILD HIS DREAM] GUJARAT IS GOOD IN BUSINESS. STILL, TECHNOLOGY IN
GUJARAT IS ON THE BACKSIDE, AND THE AVERAGE GUJARATI BELIEVES IN
WORKING IN CASH AND MAKING PERSONAL DIARIES GUJARAT BELIEVES IN
SETTING WITH OTHER SALESMEN TO SELL HIS OR HER PRODUCT. 98.6 % OF
VILLAGES ARE CONNECTED WITH ALL WETHERS ROADS. AND BECOME THE
BIGGEST AUTOMOBILE HUB IN THE COUNTRY. INDIA'S LAND OF DENIM IS
ARVIND MILLS, SOMA TEXTILE, AND MODERN DENIM.
આજ નહિ તો કલ આપણો ડંકો વાગશે [ NOT TODAY, BUT
TOMORROW WE WILL HAVE A STING]. INDIA'S FORBES LIST OR
LIST OF INDIAS WHOLE COUNTRY IS BESIDE AND GUJARAT IS
ANOTHER SIDE. 50% OF BUSINESSMEN COME FROM GUJARAT
AND ANOTHER 50% ARE FROM THE REMAINING STATES
