2. Explain the benefits brought by the external
environment to the organization; and

External Environment
A group of factors or conditions that
are outside the organization but
affect it in some extent.
These forces can help schools or
present challenges to its current
processes.

Calls for the creation of new structures and


professional bodies through which policy makers and
the profession can meet on equal terms and exercise
their joint responsibility for standards in teaching,
designing or selecting curricula, allocating
instructional resources, and assessing student
achievement and progress.

The Philippine Qualifications Framework


describes the levels of educational qualifications,
the official recognition of a person’s learning
achievements. It also sets the standards for
qualification outcomes which are the knowledge
of skills gained by the students after undergoing a
certain learning or educational program.

Internationalization
Emphasizes the relationship between and
among nations, people, cultures, institutions,
and systems.

It is a process of change which is tailored to


meet the individual needs and interests of
each higher education entity.

The practice of internationalization
fosters an immersive and inclusive
academic environment. It goes beyond
recognizing an international student’s
culture. It understands, embraces, and
integrates diverse cultures into the
educational experience.

It helps transfer knowledge and skills among
different countries of the world.
Beneficial in bringing up large group of students
together from different nationalities.
People will learn diverse cultural values and
strengthens their interactions to one another.

and acquire the decree are looking forward to work not only for a local
company but also for international company.

Globalization
It is the process that focuses on the worldwide flow of
ideas, resources, people, economy, values, culture,
knowledge, goods, services, and technology.
It is the process of world shrinkage, of distances getting
shorter, things moving closer.
In simple words, globalization is the spread and
connectivity of economic and cultural life all over the
world.

Due to the advent of globalization, the way
people think, study and learn have changed
tremendously. The effects of globalization on
education can be seen in the rapid developments in
technology and communications, changes within
learning systems, the changing roles of students and
teachers, and major concern on lifelong learning.

Globalization
It increases mobility of students and teachers across the
world, and the need for educators to be more inclusive.

Globalization in education include enhancement of


students’ ability to acquire and utilize knowledge. It
develops the ability of learners to access, assess, adopt,
and apply knowledge, to think independently, to exercise
appropriate judgment, and to collaborate with others to
make sense of new situations.
