Notice for Counseling

Phase V: CU (PART A)

ONLY FOR CU DEPARTMENTS COURSES

• APPLICANTS WHOHAVE ALREADY BEEN ADMITTED IN THE 1ST PREFERENCE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR COUNSELLING.
• APPLICANTS, ADMITTED IN EARLIER PHASES IN THE LOWER PREFERENCE ARE ELIGIBLE FOR COUNSELLING.
• APPLICANTS, SELECTED IN EARLIER PHASES BUT FAILED TO GET ADMITTED FOR A REASON WHATSOEVER ARE
ELIGIBLE FOR COUNSELLING.
• CANDIDATES MUST REPORT AT THE VENUE AN HOUR BEFORE THE COUNSELLING TIME.
• CANDIDATES MUST CARRY WITH THEM THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS AND PAPERS AS MENTIONED HEREUNDER. NO
ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE VENUE FOR ANY PURPOSE (i.e. FOR XEROX etc) ONCE INSIDE THE VENUE.
• CANDIDATES MAY CARRY WITH THEM TIFFIN AND WATER, FOR THEIR CONVENIENCE,IN CASE THE COUNSELLING
PROLONGS.
The applicants obtaining the percentage of Honors marks mentioned against each
subject of different categories(UR,SC,ST,OBC-A,OBC-B and PWD),are requested to
report at the office of the Secretary of the respective campuses for admission on the
date and time mentioned below in the TABLE FORMAT.
The candidates are also requested to bring:
1. A printed copy of the online generated Application Form.
2. All Semesters/all years MARKSHEETS in ORIGINAL
3. SC/ST/OBCA/OBCB/PWD certificates in ORIGINAL (if applicable).
4. Self attested photocopies of all semesters/year’s Mark sheets.
5. Self attested photocopies of proof of SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PWD candidate (if applicable)
6. Domicile Certificate for reserved category for candidates from outside the state of West Bengal.
7. One set of self attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
General Rules:
• Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit subject to availability of vacant seat(s)

• The choices / preferences submitted by the candidates will be processed and seat will be
provisionally allotted in the order of merit as per application form submitted.

• Candidates must be present at the time of Counseling.

• The University reserves the right to cancel the admission in case candidates DO NOT fulfill
minimum qualification / required percentage or marks in qualifying examination or supply any
false information, as the case may be.

• Overlooking (if any) is not to be claimed as right.

• Few courses do not have vacancy at present; however, called for counseling from the assumption
that vacancy may arise at the table of counseling.
