Collage Making as Regards Perception of LOVE and SUFFERING based on experiences

“LOVE SUFFERS LONG”

How it is very fast to fall in love with a person, is how easy it is to fall in love
with God too. Humans are naturally born with emotions. Love is one of them. It is an
inevitable feeling where as we humans, cannot even stop it because when it hits us,
we can never take it away from ourselves. It’s an overwhelming feeling to be in full
power of love. It makes us high, it drives us to cloud nine or even takes us to heaven.
That’s how love can gratefully impact our lives but life doesn’t always let us feel that
way all the time. We sometimes get the exact total opposite of love – the suffering.
Suffering in which we always perceive it as a negative aspect that we need to avoid.
As a matter of fact, God has done something: when the world was spinning out of
control and the people in it were lost and dying because of their own sins and
misguided choices, He sent His only Son to redeem creation by suffering and dying
in our place. “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but
that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).

This photo collage is a representation of what we think love and suffering is.
Let our group explain furthermore about it. The elements in this photo collage is a
paradigm of basic understanding of humans to both love and suffering. The heart in
the middle represents the human feeling of love. The heart shape is recognized the
world over as a symbol of romantic love and affection. Connected to a chain which
corresponds to the symbolism of toughness, courage and bravery, because we always
believe, as humans, that when we follow our heart, we tend to be strong, be
courageous and unbreakable that’s why we feel so hurt when the world doesn’t
sound back as how our heart beats, that’s why there it is hanged to an hourglass
because both suffering and love is temporary. Both love and suffering is just a short
term phase of our life. Under the hourglass is a hand in which it is in our hand how
long we’ll suffer and feel the love, because we all have choices to make, give, and
receive love and to end our sufferings. At the back of the photo, there lies the shattered
glass in which signifies our human feelings as fragile and breakable. At the most back
of the picture, we can see the mirror in which it symbolically means that we have what
it takes to reciprocate and reflect back the love we receive from people. And with both
suffering and love that God let us experience in life, we are the flowers that bloom
and grow in their own ways.

Never in this world remains the same. But it doesn’t mean we always need to
endure things because of the inevitable change. We can always earn something from
what we learn through suffering and love. Our group leaves this quotation that “a
love that never ends is a love that suffers long”.
