Once upon a time a man sold his well to a farmer. Next day when a farmer went to draw the water
from that well, the man did not allow him to draw the water from it. He said, “I have sold you the well,
not the water, so you cannot draw the water from the well.”
The farmer became very sad and came to the Emperor’s court. He described everything to the
emperor and asked for the justice.
The Emperor called Birbal and handed over this case to him. Birbal called the man who sold the well
to the farmer. Birbal asked, “Why don’t you let him use the water of the well. You have sold the well to
the farmer.” The man replied, “Birbal, I have sold the well to the farmer, not the water. He has no right
to draw the water from the well.”
Then Birbal smiled and said to him, “Good, but look, since you have sold the well to this farmer, and
you claim that water is yours, then you have no right to keep your water in the farmer’s well, or you
take that out of his well immediately.”
The man understood, that his trick has failed. Birbal has outwitted him.

I have an unforgettable story. It happened four years ago. I got up very early and went to the library
because the exams were around the corner. The library was full of people and no empty seat. Therefore, I left my
bag on the desk to reserve my seat and went out to eat lunch.
When I came back, my bag was disappeared. I asked some person sitting around the chair where I put mu
bag. But nobody knew. There was not much money in it but all the books that I had to read for the exam were
in it. I got very nervous. I rushed to the information station and told the guard that my bag was stolen. At the
same time, another person ran and told the guard same things. Then we started to watch the earlier monitor
video together. However, we all astonished at the fact that two different thieves got action in a day. Two thieves
in the library in one day were too much. Now, I became more careful about my personal property. No matter
what is on my bag and where I go, I always carry my bag!
