• Snatcher- someone who takes something he shouldn’t
• Strange- means odd or weird
• Relish- a chopped pickle condiment we put on foods like
hotdogs or hamburgers
• artichoke- a vegetable with pointy scales and a yummy
heart inside
• Cauliflower- a tightly bound cabbage-type vegetable
which grows as a head

ruin crops or be bothersome to people. Let’s look at some!

Rosamond says she will eat all these things before she ever
eats garbage:

spaghetti, ice cubes, mint leaves

Let’s look at how to put these in


alphabetical order.
Let’s say the alphabet together.

What letter comes first b or s?

To put things in alphabetical order, we look at the first letter of the


words and decide which comes first in the alphabet. If I compared
the word book to dog, book would come first because b comes
before d. Use the picture of the alphabet to put the words from our
story in alphabetical order!
