You do good things because?

I do good things because I am capable of doing so and I have rational thoughts and know the difference
between good and bad things. I am old enough to know the consequences of my actions, and I know
how to analyze and compare different actions for better results.

I am a good person because I have empathy for other people, I would not want other people to do bad
things to me because I believe in karma. There is a famous saying that "Only kill if you're prepared to be
killed", I think this can be connected to if you do bad things, be prepared for bad things to happen to
you.

Of course, there's also the fact that growing up, we're shown the difference between good and bad,
taught to always be good, and most of us have that lesson stick with us our whole life as we grow up.
