CARING

POSITIVE
Being caring helps everyone because they feel like someone is there for them no matter what. It
develops empathy and the ability to connect with people, even in difficult times.
NEGATIVE
Sometimes, in caring so much for others, we forget ourselves. that's why others become too complacent
because they know someone cares about them. The ultimate sacrifice when you care too much is your
mental health and emotional sanity.

RELIGIOUS/ FAITH IN GOD

POSITIVE
It fosters social harmony, offers moral values, and social change, provides positive life goals, fosters a
sense of belonging among people, and explains the unknown. These facets can have a large positive
impact on mental health – research says that religiosity reduces suicide rates, alcoholism, and drug use.
NEGATIVE
The idea that some people believe that illness may be the result of punishment for sins/ wrongdoings.
Spiritual conflict with one’s self, others, and a higher power is a component of negative religious coping.
When someone breaks the rule, they could feel guilty/ ashamed or they might worry that God would
punish them.

GENEROSITY

POSITIVE
Having a high-generosity makes people happier. And it allows people to be more positive, fewer
emotions which leads to their mental health is in a better situation.
NEGATIVE
Over-giving people might end up feeling angry, fearful, and anxious if continually unnoticed or
unreciprocated
