Printing methods:

1. Letter press: it is also known as direct printing. Prints directly on paper.

Oldest printing method. It was a normal form of printing text invented by johanas Gutenberg
in mid 15th century. In this printing method there are two surface plates for printing.
First for matter dye and another is for blank papers and with the help of ink roller printing is
possible. In this printing process paper directly contacts with printing plate surface so it is
also called as direct printing method.
Letter press printing is mainly used to print the books, newspaper, invitation, visiting card
etc.

Advantages:
Very useful for low budget printing project.
It has good printing results because of direct printing method.
The correction of any type of mistakes in the last stage of printing.
The wastage of paper is very low in this method.

Disadvantages:
It requires a big area and more time for arranging the printing.
More time for arranging the paper.
The speed of printing is slow so it is suitable for large scale printing.
