Media Manager

Cause
Case 1 : Need to use the correct path:   /Additional-hdd#1/partition1

11.11.2022 11:44 Avaya Knowledge - IP Office: Media Manager cannot play messages

Case 2 :  The Additional Hard Drive was 100% full on the virtual machine,

In putty we could see the additional HDD at 100 % using df -y command

Case 3 : Media manager not playing old but only new recordings because old and new recordings are in different folders/file paths

Case 4: Configuration in Media Manager, Under Call Storage Path it should be additional-hdd#1/partition1 not /additional-hdd#1/

Solution
Case 1 : Make sure to use the correct path.

Here is a summary of the complete process.

First, here is a screenshot of my Web Control services for Media Manager. Make sure you have the correct process running.
If using 10.1, Contact Recorder should be off.

Use a separate disk for Media Manager.
I am using 100GB for Media Manager on a separate virtual disk

And of course, use the correct directory path. Usually:  /additional-hdd#1/partition1

Verify Security Settings from the External TAB in the Rights Group:

For Media Manager, configure Voicemail settings from Web Manager
For 11.x, no need to chose between Media Manager r 11.0, the Archive Solution will be gone, and step can be skipped.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the correct Call Storage Path is used.
Usually, the correct patch is:    /additional-hdd#1/partition1

LICENSE in Manager, and make sure you see: VM Media Manager

Test with a user configured with Recordings in IP Office Manager
Make calls to produce rewordings
WAV files appeared in /opt/vmpro/MM/VRL

Case 2 : Need to increase the Hard drive space on the virtual machine.
Or can delete the old recording files to create some space.
Also make sure to use 11.0.4.2 or higher: https://support.avaya.com/ext/index?page=content&id=SOLN341876 (https://support.avaya.com/ext/index?page=content&id=SOLN341876)

Case 3 : Media manager not playing old but only new recordings because old and new recordings are in different folders/file paths.

To resolve: Copy/Move one of the folders into each other and set the file path in Media manager correctly.
This way, we can retrieve both old and new recordings without having change the file path in settings every
time.

Case 4: Added Partition1 to Media Manager Call Storage Path
