Government accorded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.5 Crores each towards upgrading the facilities in the existing hospitals at Vizianagaram, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Machllipatnam and Nandyal and also accorded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.146 Crores towards construction of 1 Lakh sq.feet of PEB structures at Vizianagaram [Rs.35 Cr], Rajahmundry [Rs.35 Cr], Eluru [Rs.38 Cr] and Nandyal [Rs.38 Cr] to start the Government Medical Colleges and for obtaining approval of the NMC for starting Medical Colleges for the academic year 2023-24 vide reference 1* read above. 2. | The Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad has submitted proposals for Suppression of 855 posts of various categories in Vizianagaram District Hospital, Rajamahendravaram District Hospital, Eluru District Hospital, Machilipatnam District Hospital and Nandyal District Hospital under the administrative control of Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishadvide reference 3° read above, as the said District hospitals are being transferred to the administrative control of the Director of Medical Education, AP. 3. Government after careful examination, hereby suppress the 855 posts of various categories in Vizianagaram District Hospital, Rajamahendravaram District Hospital, Eluru District Hospital, Machilipatnam District Hospital and Nandyal District Hospital under the administrative control of Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhana Parishad as annexed to this order as the said District hospitals are being transferred to the administrative control of the Director of Medical Education. 4. The Director of Medical Education, A.P, Vijayawada and Commissioner APVVP shall take further necessary action accordingly. 7. NOGaAwN= ORDE! Under the Nadu-Nedu programme, Government have decided to revitalize the hospital and healthcare services across the State. The program enlists holistic revamping of healthcare infrastructure of the State including strengthening / up gradation of primary & secondary health care and strengthening of existing medical colleges and attached institutions and 16 new medical colleges within a span of next (3) years. 2. _In the references 1" to 5" read above, Government have accorded administrative sanction to the Director of Medical Education, A.P, Vijayawada for an amount of Rs.7850 Crores (Rupees Seven Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Crores only ) towards establishment of 16 new Medical Colleges in the State including Rs.525 Crores for Medical College at Eluru. 3. _ Inthe reference 6" read above, Government have accorded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.5 Crores towards upgrading the facilities in the existing hospital at Eluru and also accorded administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.38 Crores towards construction of 1 Lakh sq. feet of PEB structure at Eluru to start the Government Medical College and for obtaining the approval of the NMC for starting Medical College for the academic year 2023-24. 4, _ Inthe reference 7” read above, the Director of Medical Education, A.P, Vijayawada has submitted proposals for creation of (222) posts of various categories in Government Medical College, Eluru under the administrative control of Director of Medical Education, AP, Vijayawada for starting the Medical College for the academic year 2023-24 5. The program enlists holistic revamping of healthcare infrastructure of the State including strengthening / up gradation of primary & secondary health care and strengthening of existing medical colleges and attached institutions and 16 new medical colleges within a span of next (3) years. 2. Vijayawada for an amount of Rs 7850 crores (Rupees Seven Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty crores only ) towards establishment of 16 new Medical Colleges in the State including 475 crores for Medical College at Rajamahendravram, 3.
