Good afternoon,

I’d like to provide you with the following information so you can check if that matches up with what you need and if you
agree to the fees.

1. English Language
a. This would be syllabus 0500 and you would need to take the option that offers 2 exams and no
coursework.  This would be paper 1 (Reading) and
paper 2 (Directed Writing and Composition).

b. The total length for both exams is 2 hours
2. Mathematics
a. This would be syllabus 0580.  You need to select whether you are doing EXTENDED or CORE.  There
will be 2 exams for both options.

b. The total length for EXTENDED exams would be 4 hours
c. The total length for CORE exams would be 3 hours
3. History
a. This would be syllabus 0470 and you would need to take the option that offers 2 exams and no
coursework.  This would be paper 1, paper 2 and

b. The total length for these exams would be 5 hours
4. Business Studies
a. This would be syllabus 0450 and you would be taking 2 papers.

b. The total length for these exams would be 3 hours
5. Foreign Language Malay
a. We are unable to offer this to private candidates due to the speaking exam

Your costing would be:

Subject registration fee: $120 per subject x 4 subjects = $480

Administration fee: $30 per paper x 9 papers = $270
Invigilation fee: $25 per hour x 14 hours = $350 (for extended maths) , $325 (for core maths)
ISB fee: 15% of the above = $165 (for extended maths) , $161.25 (for core maths)
TOTAL = $1265 (for extended maths) , $1236.25 (for core maths)

Registration for this needs to be done by the end of January.  If you wish to proceed, please let me know in the week
beginning 9th January and I will have our Finance department prepare
your official invoice.
