The language conveyed was Kannada. The day has been declared a state event. Karnataka residents celebrate the Kannada Rajotsava Day with special pomp. On this day, Karnataka carry a red and yellow flag. People also sing the Kannada national anthem. The state government provides grants to individuals who have contributed to the improvement of Karnataka. The Prime Minister will introduce the state's capacity to be held at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore. This Rajotsava is commended by all religions Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. This day is celebrated not only in Karnataka but also in many parts of India. Kannada Rajotsava is celebrated by Kannadigas throughout the state without distinction of rank or religion. On this day, people wear casual clothes. Men are required to wear turbans in yellow and red, while women are required to wear sarees in shades of yellow and red. This day is registered as an administrative event in the Karnataka region. Kannadigas celebrate this day with incredible pride. On this day, many people celebrate Rajotsava of Karnataka by raising Karnataka flags followed by singing Kannada hymns. The festival includes Karnataka social music and folk dances such as Dolkunita and Velagas performed by local individuals. On this day, Rajotsava Scholarships are awarded by the Prime Minister and Governor of the state to those who have contributed to the progress of the state.
