Are there any nonverbal behaviors that students typically use in your university?

What do these behaviors mean?

Could they be misinterpreted in another culture? How?

I tend to use nonverbal a lot in my daily life, for example, Facial Expressions,
sometimes when I do something thoughtful. I always make a facial expression Let my friends
see that I'm feeling stressed out. Or sometimes I'm really excited. I was always walking around
and feeling nervous. to reduce excitement. Eye contact can be used as a nonverbal cue in
addition to showing interest. It also communicates if we have a particular emotion when we
gaze at the individual, such as whether they enjoy it or not. People nearby usually recognize
that there needs to be silence when someone does a shuuuu. He is calling someone to him when
he beckons.
I've chosen five items from the list of the slides on the topic of how to improve cross-
cultural nonverbal communication:
• pay attention to nonverbal cues because if we lack desire in learning about nonverbal,
we won't know how to perform it properly.
• Make Eye Contact Well. Making eye contact demonstrates that we are paying close
attention to the speaker. It not only makes the speaker want to tell us about it but is also
polite.
• Use signals to add meaning For instance, a project presentation is scheduled to take
place. He made a worried gesture and bit his nails before to it. That demonstrates how
excited and stressed he is. As far as we are aware, those indications indicate what will
help us comprehend that individual better.
• Be Aware That Signals Can Be Misread and Take the Context into Account. These two
poems examine the meaning of the nonverbal use. And how did things stand back then?
One lecture, for instance, discussed a recently arrived woman in Algeria. On the
balcony is he. When he saw an Algerian bystander, he waved to him. But she only said
hello to him. As a result, if we read the signal carelessly, it may be misleading.
So, our objective is to improve nonverbal communication. Because it's a skill that can be
developed, we should try to practice. By paying close attention to nonverbal behavior and
practicing various forms of nonverbal communication with others, you can develop this skill.
