Goat’s Respiratory System

1) Contact the school nurse to determine if any students have allergies relative to specimen
preparation chemicals.
2) Always used goggles, mask, gloves and aprons when doing dissection work.
3) Review emergency eye-wash procedures for chemical exposure prior to doing dissection work.
4 )Always have the specimen completely rinsed prior to dissection to avoid contact with
preservative chemicals.
