Scope:
This section deals with standard overhauling and inspection procedures
used for double acting double cylinder reciprocating compressor
(47K001A/B) for propylene service.

Introduction:

Before proceeding towards disassembly, ensure all safety precautions and

follow all instructions as mentioned in the ‘Permit to Work’.

General Precautions:

Before commencing dismantling,

 Be certain that the main driver is locked out/ de energized.

 Close the intake and discharge line valve and bleed of any pressure
that may be in the compressor cylinders.

