Path of Study

The below illustrates your degree programme’s full path of study (in other words, the
sequence in which courses should be taken across the three years of study). The
diagram is based on a student taking a full course load each study session (i.e. the
maximum number of credits (60 credits) per 20-week study session). The orange blocks
indicate the exam periods and the courses that will be examined in each. Please note,
Autumn exams are the October/November exam periods.

Should you wish to take less than the full course load for your first 20-week study
session (i.e. should you wish to register for less than 60 credits), please liaise with your
Student Success Advisor (SSA) for advice and guidance on which courses to register
for. It is important that you are well informed ahead of completing registration.
Prerequisite and Corequisite Courses

Definition

● Prerequisite: A course that you must register and complete live sessions for
before you are permitted to complete the teaching for another course
● Corequisite: A course that must be attempted either before or at the same time
as another course

Please see the below diagram which illustrates prerequisite and corequisite courses on
your programme. Pay attention to the ‘KEY’ box located at the bottom right-hand corner
of the diagram. Should you have any further questions regarding the diagram, promptly
