Never again will I use this shipping service. A bold statement to begin with. But true.

After seeing the

blockbuster “Cast Away” with the well renowned actor Tom Hanks my allergy to the shipping
company FedEx began to grow.

To be honest, I found the movie to be great. The panoramic scenes on the beautiful island, the
simplicity of life as it could be, the reminder of the elementary basic tools we have but that we take
for granted in western and daily life, the stress we unnecessarily give ourselves every day because of
deadlines and goals we have or give ourselves, the fact that life is beautiful if we can appreciate it
differently. A movie that made me reflect my daily life and routine. A movie that could make a
difference.

But the involvement of the company FedEx was enormous in the movie. And yes, Tom works for the
company. And yes, he is on the island surrounded by packages because of an unfortunate situation.
So a particular shipping brand can be mentioned to make the movie more credible. From this angle
there is no problem. But starting from the first scene to the last, the brand appeared on the screen.
And even the end of the movie embodied a caring message from the company. And especially this
over the top advertisement at the end made the complete movie unrealistic and changed the drama
adventure to a comedy.

Ending with a nice fact for you….. Did you know that FedEx did not pay for this advertisement?
