User Research Participation Agreement

This Research Participation Agreement (“Agreement”) is between PicCollage Company

(“PicCollage”, "we",“us”, “our”) and the undersigned person or entity (“Participant”, “you”,
“your”).

In consideration of your agreeing to participate in the research, PicCollage and you agree as
follows:

1. Your participation in this study is voluntary

You can take a break at any time. Just tell the researcher if you need a break. You can leave at
any time if you’re feeling uncomfortable or something urgent is happening.

2. Information collected during research

We will ask you to show us how you use the product or similar products you’re using right now.

We will watch how you do various tasks and ask you some questions. We will record the
session and will take notes to record your comments and actions.
In addition to your information collected via recordings, PicCollage may also collect your
information, including your name, age, gender, email address, phone number, opinions,
response to Research questions, and personal background.

3. How do we use this information

The information gotten from this research will be used to improve the current experience of our
apps and products. People on the product team may view the session from another room. Other
people involved in the design of the product may watch the recordings of your session in the
future.

These recordings will be treated as confidential and will not be shared outside of our company,
or used for any other purposes.

We may publish research reports that include your comments and actions but your data will be
anonymous, which means your name and identity will not be linked in our research report to
anything you say or do.

4. Ownership of Recordings and Research Data

All information shared with us will be treated with care. We will also welcome any request to
delete your information.
5. How do we store your data
Your data will be securely stored on Dropbox, Clickup, Dovetail, Google Drive, which are all
GDPR and CCPA compliant companies. You can view each companies’ privacy policy on their
respective official websites.

6. Your Data Protection Rights

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user
research participant is entitled to the following:

- The right to access copies of personal data that we process

- The right to request us to correct or complete any personal information
- The right to request your personal data to be erased
- The right to withdraw any consent previously given
- The right to have us temporarily restrict processing your personal information
- The right to object to processing of personal information in cases of direct marketing, or when
we rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis to process your information
- The right to request personal data to be transferred to another organization or directly to you in
a machine-readable format; and
- The right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate data protection authority

7. Confidentiality Restrictions and Obligations

You agree not to disclose any of PicCollage’s commercial, financial or technical information,
materials, intelligence, plans, and confidential or other related matters may come to you
knowledge in the course of taking part in this user research session to any person, organization
or entity which without PicCollage’s prior written consent.

If you want to withdraw your consent in the future, contact the User Research Team -
userfeedback@piccollage.com, who will destroy any personal data we hold about you. If you
make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of
these rights, please contact the User Research Team.
