3. A modern breed of broiler chickens grows in only 35 day to a market size of more than 2 kg and a laying hen
today produces more than 310 eggs in a year.
4. For such high productivity nutrition must meet high standards. Any deviation will result in commercial losses.
5. To prevent leg problems in fast growing breeds of broiler chickens under commercial conditions, very high
supplementation of D3 is used 3000 - 5000 IU/kg of feed, so is the case with layers and breeders, to ensure op-
timum egg shell quality and bone mineralization.
6. Vitamin D as such supplemented in the feed is not biologically active, after uptake, it needs two transforma-
tions -
Cholecalciferol - The Vitamin D in your Vitamin Premix ( Needs transformation First @ Liver then @ Kidney )
The fate of any Vitamin D supplemented is 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol or the Active form. Thus use of NAT ACT
D3 is the most efficient form of Vitamin D without overloading liver and kidney.
- Completely Natural
- The Bioactive form - does not need any transformation
- High Stability during storage & processing
- Cost Effective
- High Tolerance - Safe product
- Helps in maintaining egg shell quality. This reduces cracked eggs & other egg shell defects.
- Helps maintain longer productive life on account of better bone health.
- Helps in optimising egg production by reducing time involved in egg shell formation
- More Usable eggs for consumption or for hatching as the case maybe
Broilers
- Broiler Pre-starter - strong skeletal to support robust growth, prevents leg problems in fast growing broilers
- Broilers life cycle - increases growth performance & bone mineralization
- Heavy broilers - less leg weakness
