Reverse lhe removei procedure to install lhe pivot pio

Remove the rod end of lhe tilt cylinder from lhe Bob-
Tach. (See Contents Page 20-01.) Figure 20-21-11

Use a seal pick to remove lhe seals (Item 1) [Figure 20-

21-8] on bolh sides of lhe pivot bushing.

Loosen lhe retainer bolt (Item 1) [Figure 20-21-11] from

lhe tilt cylinder base end pln.
~emove and replaoe bushing with a driver tool and
1ammer [Figure 20-21-9]. lnsta/latlon: lighten lhe retainer boll to 350-360 ft.-lbs.
(475-488 Nm) Iorque.

Strike the head of lhe bolt (Item 1) [Figure 20-21-11] to

push lhe pivol pin out.

Reverse lhe removei procedure to install lhe pivot pin.
