BUCHAREST CITY TOUR

2 DAY TRIP – 150 $

Bucharest, located southeast of Romania, is the country’s capital and largest city. Although it endured a colorful history,
from natural disasters to Ceaușescu’s communist era, it rose to become the beautiful destination it is today. Many visitors
skip it and head straight to Transylvania, but Bucharest is slowly becoming a must-see destination in Europe. If you’re
curious to see what the ‘Paris of the East’ has to offer, below are some things to do in Bucharest.

Palace of Parliament – The Biggest and the heaviest

building in the world, designed under Communist era, is
built of marble sourced mainly from Romania. Can be
visited from outside (photo opportunity) or guided inside
tour (between 15th of August and 28th of October 2022
the guided inside tours are canceled due to a large
international event being organized)

Village Museum – a very unique open air museum, more

like a large park with a variety of houses and huts from
all regions of Romania and different eras.

Triumph Arch – a landmark building of “Little Paris”

(as Bucharest was often called during the two World
Wars) was first build out of wood after the Independence
War in 1878 so that victorious army troops can march
underneath and was modernized first in 1922 after
World War I and the new arch made of stone with
elaborated sculptures was inaugurated in 1936.
Stavropoleos Monastery – a small but very beautiful
ancient monastery for nuns, built in 1724 with beautiful
architecture, original wall murals and quiet gardens with
lots of flowers.

Herastrau Park – Bucharest’s biggest and beautiful park

with a charming lake and gorgeous alleys, with various
activities such as National Village Museum or Beraria H
(largest Beerhall in Europe) and Hard Rock Café in its
proximity. Especially charming during sunny days.

Therme Bucharest - The biggest wellness, relaxation and

entertainment center in Europe. Located North of
Bucharest, just 10 minutes away from the city, Therme
Bucharest is a wellness concept for a modern lifestyle,
dedicated to your well-being.

Old Town - No trip to Bucharest is complete without a

night on the town to explore the bustling Old Town bars
& clubs. It is one of the most beloved and attractive areas
in Bucharest, a place steeped in buildings built in
neoclassical and neo-baroque style. Many of these
buildings have on the ground dozens of floor terraces,
cafes, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shops, full of
foreign tourists, but also locals. Bar Crawl Tour - included

Other landmarks & sightseeing – depending on your

personal choices, the tour is very flexible and can be
modified to include your favorite activities (other
museums, parks, live Casino, poker clubs, electric indoor
karting, escape rooms, karaoke bars, food tour, etc.)
