30 Oct.

- pick up from airport and stay overnight in Bucharest

31 Oct.- Bucharest Tour: panoramic tour by car, walking tour in Bucharest Old Town, visit The Palace of
Parliament (The People’s House).Overnight you will stay in Bucharest.

Bucharest is Romania's capital and largest city, as well as the most important industrial and commercial
center of the country.  Known in the past as "The Little Paris," Bucharest has changed a lot lately, and
today it has become a very interesting mix of old and new that has little to do with its initial reputation.

Along the oldest road in the city(Calea Victoriei) you'll take a look at The Royal Palace, The Revolution
Square, the first saving Bank and the National Military Circle. Next stop is at the largest administrative
building in the world, The Palace of Parliament. This building houses the Senate and the Chamber of
Deputies, three museums and an international conference center. After this visit, we'll continue
with Romanian Patriarchal Cathedral built in 1655 and then we will enjoy the charms of the historical
center that houses the last vestiges of The Old Princely Court. Afterwards, we will cross the entire city to
take a visit to the Village Museum.
This open-air ethnographic museum is located in the Herăstrău Park, showcasing traditional Romanian
village life. The area of the museum extends to over 100,000 square meters and contains 272 authentic
farms and houses from all over Romania. It was the first of this kind in Europe and was created in 1936
by Dimitrie Gusti. On our way back to the starting point you will have the chance to admire the beautiful
boulevard that goes near the Arch of Triumph, the Victoriei Square with the Government building and
Grigore Antipa National Museum of Natural History.

The Palace of Parliament (The People’s House) is the the world’s second largest administrative building
after the Pentagon. At the border of reason, kitsch and neoclassicism, the building reflects best what
Romania underwent in the communist period. Built in a time when the people of Romania have been
destitute, it has been regarded with reticence. It was named The People’s House, because it was built by
the folk (and by no means for the folk). It seems that 20,000 workers have worked on the site, in all
three work shifts, and no less than 700 specialists in design and architecture

01 Nov. You will leave Bucharest in the morning and in about 2 hours you will be in Sinaia City where
you will visit the first castle :Peles Castle. The town was named after Sinaia Monastery of 1695, around
which it was built. The monastery in turn is named after the Biblical Mount Sinai.King Carol I of
Romania built his summer home, Peleș Castle, near the town in the late nineteenth century. Peles Castle
is a masterpiece of German new-Renaissance architecture, considered by many one of the most
stunning castles in Europe.Peles Castle was the first European castle entirely lit by electrical current.
Traveling further through the Carpathian Mountains, you will find Bran Castle. Surrounded by an aura of
mystery and legend and perched high atop a 200-foot-high rock, Bran Castle owes its fame to its
imposing towers and turrets as well as to the myth created around Bram Stocker's Dracula. After we will
recomande you a traditional place for lunch. The next stop will be Brasov City and here you will be stay
overnight. Brasov is home to one of the narrowest streets in Europe. The Rope Street (Strada Sforii) is
approximately four feet wide. Here you will see Old Town Hall Square, where you can admire colorfully
painted and ornately trimmed baroque structures and  Black Church (Biserica Neagra), the largest Gothic
church in Romania.Though its name, Biserica Neagră (the Black Church) may seem dark and
foreboding, but the building is nothing to fear. Step inside, and you’ll find a magnificent trove of cultural
treasures nested within the enormous space. The Black church is not only an interesting historical
edifice, but also a great place to visit for the legend of a boy who died tragically or for the bullets that
can be seen in the walls of the church.

02 Nov. After breakfast you will go to visit

Libearty Sanctuary- the Best Bear Sanctuary in the world. At
he bottom of the Carpathians, near a small town named Zarnesti more than 69 hectares of luxuriant
forest with rivers and ponds are now the home of almost 90 brown bears. Each bear has its own
emotional story and has been saved from captivity. After this you will go to Harman, a fortified churche,
UNESCO Heritage, very well preserved as you will get to see. We will continue our journey to  Sighisoara
Medieval City where you will stay overnight. Sighisoara still stands as one of the most beautiful and
best-preserved medieval towns in Europe.Designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this perfectly
intact 16th century gem with nine towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses and ornate churches rivals
the historic streets of Old Prague or Vienna for atmospheric magic. The Clock Tower, the house where
Vlad Dracula (Vlad the Impaler) was born , the Church of the Hill with its 500-year-old frescoes
and the Church of the Dominican Monastery, known for its Transylvanian renaissance carved altarpiece,
baroque pulpit and Oriental carpets ,are just few things really worth to visit in Sighisoara.

05. Today you will find the paintes Monastery: Voronet,Moldovita,Sucevita. Among the most picturesque
treasures of Romania are the Painted Monasteries of Bucovina (in northeastern Romania). Their painted exterior walls are
decorated with elaborate 15th and 16th century frescoes featuring portraits of saints and prophets, scenes from the life of Jesus,
images of angels and demons, and heaven and hell. Deemed masterpieces of Byzantine art, these churches are one-of-a-kind
architectural sites in Europe.
Far from being merely wall decorations, the murals represent complete cycles of religious events.
The Monastery of Moldovita , located in the village of Vatra Moldovitei, was built by Petru Rares in 1532.
The predominantly gold and deep blue paintings on the exterior walls were completed in 1537.
The large and vivid Siege of Constantinople highlights the frescoes. High walls and heavily buttressed defensive towers
surround the great monastic complex of Sucevita, giving it the appearance of a fortress. Founded in 1581
by Gheorghe Movila, Bishop of Radauti, it was later expanded by his brother, Ieremia, ruling prince of
Moldavia, who added massive ramparts and turrets. Sucevita was a princely residence as well as a fortified monastery.
Today, the thick walls shelter a museum presenting an outstanding collection of historical and art objects. The tomb covers of
Ieremia and Simion Movila – rich portraits embroidered in silver thread – together with ecclesiastical silverware, books and
illuminated manuscripts, offer eloquent testimony to Sucevita's importance first as a manuscript workshop, then as a printing center.
Perhaps the most famous and stunning of the painted monasteries is Voronet (Vo ro nets), founded in 1487 by Stephen the Great to
celebrate a victory over the Turks. Widely known throughout Europe as "the Sistine Chapel of the East" due to its interior and
exterior wall paintings, this monastery offers an abundance of frescoes featuring an intense shade of blue commonly known as
'Voronet blue. The composition of the paint continues to remain a mystery even now, more than 500 years after the church was
built.
Overnight you will be in Gura Humorului City.
6 nov.You will leave Gura Humorului in the morning and you will be head to Cluj City, the fourth most
populous city in Romania. With one of the most vibrant economies in the country and a population of around 330,000, Cluj, is
today a vibrant cultural and educational city.t he main square, resplendent with 18th and 19th century buildings
and home to many shops and restaurants, is dominated by the 15th century St. Michael's Church, one
of the finest examples of gothic architecture in Romania. The square also claims the 18-th century
baroque Banffy Palace, housing the weaponry and Romanian art collections of the Art Museum. For the
best views of the city and the surrounding landscape, climb some 200 feet up Fortress Hill. The name refers to an Austrian fortress
built here in the 18-th century to ensure control, rather than defense, of the city.
One of the city's oldest structures, the Franciscan Monastery was built in the 15-th century on the site of an older church dating from
1273 and handed to the Dominican order by ruler Iancu de Hunedoara in 1455.Cluj is he place where you will stay overnight.

7 nov.Early in the morning you will leave Cluj and go to Salt Mine Turda. During the Second World War, the mine
was opened again to provide refuge for the population during the air strikes. The
upgrading
of the salt mine was done between the years 2008-2010. Therefore,
some standards of modern visiting, were included. An elevator with
bird’s eye-view was installed, a wheel with gondolas, amphitheater with
100 heated seats,  a minigolf court and playgrounds On Lake Theresa arranged in mine you can
ride the boat around the island of salt, or to tremble passing under huge cascade of salt.
Leaving behind the Salt Mine and after a 2 hours journey you will get the Corvinus Castle, also
known as Hunyadi Castle or Hunedoara Castle is a Gothic-Renaissance castle in Hunedoara, Romania.
Corvin Castle is also the largest medieval castle in Transylvania, surpassing even the mysterious Bran Castle and the
royal Peles Castle. Many refer to it as one of the seven wonders of Romania, and it had a big impact on popular
culture, inspiring people such as Bram Stoker in their work. The Corvin family was related to the family of Vlad
the Impaler, but their story is one filled with conspiracies and betrayals. The construction work for the Hunyadi
Castle began in 1440, and it was designed as a defense fortress and a prison. The Corvin Castle is split into 3
large areas: the Knight’s Hall, which was used for feasts, the Diet Hall, which was used for ceremonies, and
the circular stairway. All of the halls have a rectangular shape, and their walls are beautifully decorated with
marble.Late in the evening you will arrived at Sibiu City.

8 Nov.

In the morning you will visit Sibiu. Sibiu was the largest and wealthiest of the seven walled citadels
built in the 12th century by German settlers known as Transylvanian Saxons. Sibiu's Old Town retains
the grandeur of its earlier days when rich and powerful guilds dominated regional trade. Sections of
the medieval wall still guard the historic area, where narrow streets pass steep-roofed 17th century
buildings with gable overhangs before opening into vast, church-dominated squares such as Great
Square and Little Square. Sibiu is a pedestrian-friendly city with two easily accessible levels:
the Upper town, home to most of Sibiu's historic sights, and the Lower town, lined with colorful
houses on cobblestone streets and bounded by imposing city walls and defense towers overlooking the
river Cibin. Here you can visit: Sibiu's Towers,Great Square, Roman-Catholic Church, Council Tower ,
Palatul Brukental, The Little Square, Huet Square, The Bridge of Lies , The Stairs Passage, Haller
Bastion , Brukenthal Museum .
Continuing the trip the last stop on the way to Bucharest will be at Curtea de Arges Monastery. Curtea de Arges
Built
Monastery is one of the most famous monasteries in Romania and a must-see attraction .
500 years ago by the medieval Prince Neagoe Basarab, the church was from the
beginning a key religious landmark in Southern Romania given the use of
expensive and rare materials and the hand-carved decorations inspired not only
from the Byzantine tradition, but also from the Ottoman world.
The Monastery of Curtea de Arges is at the center of a very popular Romanian
legend. The story is that one of the main constructors, Manole, saw all his day
work destroyed during the night. In the end, he could only finalize the work by
sacrificing his wife, placing her inside the walls of the church even if that meant
her death.
Looking more like a mosque than a typical Orthodox church, Curtea de Arges Monastery is a
wonderful historical and cultural site where your religion, or lack of it for that matter, has no
importance. It’s the necropolis of the royal family and of medieval princes who, centuries apart,
fought for the independence of Romania or of its provinces.
