Dear Dr. Santos:

I regret to inform you of my resignation, effective on April 30, 2022, as I need to take some time

off for health reasons. I have recently been diagnosed with an illness that will need me to rest

and recuperate, and I will not be able to do the job with my previous level of competence.

I could not be more grateful for all of the opportunities I’ve had to grow and make lifelong

friends during my time here. I’d like to thank you deeply for your guidance and support during

my employment.
