In the morning, Geppetto dressed the puppet smartly and said,
'Now you are ready for school.‘
'I cannot go to school,' Pinocchio grumbled, ‘because I don't have a
spelling book.’
Geppetto went out into the snow and sold his old coat to buy
Pinocchio a spelling book. On the way home he went into the baker's
shop to buy a big bread roll to take for his lunch.
