PINOCCHIO

The story begins in a workshop of a carpenter

called Mastro Ciliegia because of his red nose
like a cherry.

Mastro Geppetto received it from Mastro Ciliegia because

he wanted to make a puppet.

While Geppetto was making it the piece of wood

complained about the hits it was receiving.
Geppetto made the puppet and decided to name it Pinocchio.

The dream of Geppetto was to have a real son. That night

a fairy realised his desire. When he woke up he was
amazed to see that the puppet had become a boy.

Pinocchio was really noughty, he made fun of Geppetto

and he didnt want to go to school.

When he was back home there was a cricket that scold

him but Pinocchio didnt want to listen and tried to kill him
with a hammer . Then, he was tired and fell asleep in front

of the fire so his feet started burning. Mastro Geppetto

rebuilt his legs.

Pinocchio promised him to behave well and to go to school.

Geppetto had to sell his jacket to buy a book for Pinocchio.

While going to school he was attracted by a big Puppet

Theatre with a fire eater called Mangiafuoco. He wanted to
enter. It had to buy the ticket so he sold its spellingbook. It
told his story to Mangiafuoco and he gave him 5 coins to
give to Geppetto. .

When he was returning home, Pinocchio met a Cat and a Fox, that
tried to convince Pinocchio to follow them to plant the money in the
Field of Miracles to obtain two thousand five hundred coins

The night the Cat and the Fox dressed up as bandits asked Pinocchio
where he hid the money but Pinocchio didnt tell them. They hanged
him up a tree to let him talk, luckily in that moment a Fairy appeared
and saved him so asked him to tell her its story. Then, she asked where
he hid the money but Pinocchio started telling lies and the more were
the lies the more his nose grew.

Pinocchio felt ashamed and asked the fairy to help it so she called a flock
of woodpecker that hit his nose to return tonormal dimension. From that
moment Pinocchio promised to go to school. There he met a boy,
Lucignolo, who convinced him to go to a place IL Paese dei Balocchi
where people didnt study. precisely the paese dei balocchi. Pincchio
couldnt resist went there.

Their ears grew long like their hair till they became two donkeys.
Lucignolo was sold to a farmer and Pinocchio to a circus. After that he
was sold to a farmer who wanted to make drum out of its skin, the
farmer threw it in water to drown him. The Fairy noticed him and
transformed him again into a wooden puppet.

Pinocchio was eaten by a whale where inside in his

stomac he found Geppetto. During that night they
managed to escape from its mouth. They reached the
shore. Since then Pinocchio studied and helped Geppetto.
So the Fairy made her last miracle and transformed
Pinocchio into a real child.
