2. Have you minimized the use of plastics ? Why or why not?

Answer :
● yes, we can recycle plastic, there are several ways we can recycle plastic. There are many
types of plastic used, some of which we can recycle and some will need new technologies
before we can effectively recycle. This means that some of the plastics are still used for
garbage disposal, some are burned and some are sent abroad for recycling. First we can
recycle plastic as a craft, second we can recycle plastic into plastic ore. In the plastic
recycling process, there are steps that need to be taken, starting from collection, sorting,
washing, resizing, identification and separation of plastics, and compounding as the final
stage.

● Yes, we have minimized the use of plastics.

In a way :
1. Every time we buy fruit or vegetables to supermarkets or traditional markets, can we
replace plastic with cloth bags.
2. Then if we buy a drink we can replace it by using our own bottles and we have to
reduce the use of straws.
3. Get used to Cooking Yourself at Home.
4. Buying Items in Larger Packages for a Long Time, so you can save on the plastic
wrapping of the item.
5. Limiting the Use of Microbeads.
6. Limit the use of plastic in wrapping packages.

We minimize use of plastics because, the overuse of plastic is very damaging to the
ecosystem of living things on earth such as the sea which is often an impact on waste
disposal, which causes living things in it to die and their habitats are disturbed. plastic
also takes a long time to decompose, so it is not good for us and the planet to consume it
continuously. If the movement to reduce plastic is not carried out, we are slowly
destroying the earth. If we continue to be indifferent and don't care about using only
plastic, the damage and destruction of the earth is only a matter of time.
