Tugas 1

Abstract. Visible light has been widely used by humans. Visible light can also be used
as a communication system. in certain places, communication cannot be carried out
easily using technology that uses electromagnetic waves, for example in waters, tunnels
or in places that cannot receive electromagnetic waves (blank spots). In this place,
conservation (speech) between humans simultaneously (full duplex) using cellular
technology cannot be done. Therefore, the use of visible light communication (VLC)
technology is a solution that can replace the existing communication system. Visible
light communication (VLC) using white light emitting diodes (LEDs) is a promising
technology for next-generation communications for short-range and high-speed
wireless data transmission. Performance analysis was carried out on the color filter, the
photodiode photo sensitivity of the receiver and the increase in the distance between the
transmitter and receiver. In this paper, an inexpensive VLC system transmitter and
receiver is designed and their performance evaluated. The experimental results show
that the data transmission distance achieved is 6.3 m.

Tugas 2
In this simulation, we investigate pilot-based least squares estimation on the HAPS
channel. We compared the system between SISO, MIMO STBC 2x2 and the user
speed was taken into account. With the same SNR, MIMO STBC has a better BER.
The increase in user speed (60 km/h to 350 km/h) was shown to affect system
performance as well. This is evidenced by the decrease in the bit error rate (BER) and
the system. The system that uses the channel also affects the reality of the system. The
system using channel estimation has a better BER than the system without channel
estimation at the same SNR and elevation angle with an SNR improvement of about 5
dB.
