Connecting wires

PROCEDURE for Vth:

1. Open PSPICE , go to get new part .

2. Take necessary components :

3. For resistor write “r” and for DC voltage source write “vdc”.

4. Connect all components by clicked on draw wire and assign values by double clicked on
component.
5. Leave the terminal open for Vth

6. Save the file

7. Go to analysis and stimulate

8. Enable the value of v in analysis

Note the value of v as Vth

PROCEDURE for Isc:

1. Redraw the circuits as procedure above
2. Except short circuit the terminal for Isc instead of leaving it open
3. Save the file
4. Stimulate it
5. Enable the value of I
6. Note the value as Isc
