1. Kindly describe the above image.

The image above describes the life of our ecosystem and its differences between
the past up to present time. As you can see in the picture, the past time which is
the picture A had prosperous resources than to picture B which is the present
time. The main reason why in the present time has poor resources it’s because
of human action (activities) like improper or overuse of our ecosystem that leads
to changes in the present time. Human activity had a tremendous impact in our
ecosystem not just only by land but it also in the water that should be influence
ecosystem profoundly.
2. What do you think are the reasons of the differences of the period?
The differences between periods can be classified in varying aspects. It may be
through the existence of globalization and modernization which also affects the
phenomenal changes of ecosystem or the environment. Logically, as hundred
years passed by, there’s only one thing that is constant and that is change. As
the world continuously evolved several changes takes place between each
period of time. If you will ask why globalization and modernization can be
included as reasons, well, rationally, due to globalization and modernization,
several of technologies were invented. These technologies will surely
significance in our daily living however, the problem is, we humans are
 irresponsible enough to preserve our environment. As the development of
technologies arises, the issue with regards to our environment also increases.
For example, for past years, fishermen only applied old style fishing techniques
which literally didn`t affect the ecosystem particularly marine environment.
Nevertheless, as we are in present period, lots of fishing styles were used
including the use of dynamite fishing which destroy corals and other marine
species. Furthermore, the picture doesn`t only focuses on one environmental
issue yet, it could be many such as loss of habitats between distinctive kind of
animals due to insignificance human actions.
3. What do you think is the relationship of the image to the human
population?
The idea of overpopulation can be interconnected within the image. As the
number of population increases, there`s a growth of necessities between
individuals. The supplication of commodities is indeed from the environment.
Henceforward, the ecosystem set out as our source of income or source of
living, if human being will not be able to take care the environment, vice versa,
the environment itself will provide a decrease amount of their needs. Remember,
environment can survive without humans, however, humans can`t survive
without environment.
4. To what extent humans transformed the natural environment?
Humans acted upon it`s important role towards the environment. We have been
declared and known as Earth`s protector yet, also be called as destroyer. As
much as we can say that environment is significance in our daily living, however,
denied it or not, we aren`t eager enough to take our responsibilities through
actions. There are several of ways that we could extent to transform our
ecosystem into a green and healthier one. Preserving, protecting, and taking
care of our environment will help us conserved our natural environment. Along
with our actions such as planting of trees, proper use of natural resources,
throwing our garbage properly and etc. are some ways that we could manoeuvre
to our environment. Instead of saying it through words, why not taking actions
into it. Lending our hands together will come up to a meaningful and wonderful
environment to have.

Write a historical analysis / background of human development in your locality. Make
your presentation like you are writing a story. To help you make your story, follow the
guide questions below:

1. When was your locality established?

Once upon a time, there was a placed found in a year 1898 by a political leader
named Saturnino Vicentino together his sons Kalisaugan and Antolin who first
migrated to the place in a year 1898 to 1910 which is Barangay Lawigan.
2. What was the population at the time it was established?
Moreover, the three former political leaders were known to be the first to build the
sitio which was named after a native word “Lavigan”. They came from Mandaya
Tribe and their populations are not more than 800 people before. Therefore, the
three former political leaders are a great influence to the people living there.
3. What was the beginning mode of living of the people in your locality at the
time it was established?
The mode of living in Barangay Lawigan before is a haven to fishermen up to this
day which provides a rich fishing ground with its vast deep blue sea which is
home to various species. It has also a long coastal white sand beach overlooking
the beautiful panoramic view of Pujada Island.
4. What were the public structures at that time? Describes the structures?
The public structures before are not made of cement and other steel materials. It
is made of wood, anahaw, coconut leaves and other native materials. The
schools, hall and other establishments are made of native materials especially
the house of people there.
5. What was the mode of transportation?
The mode of transportation before is boat and horse. They all use horse to go to
farm, and boat to go to other places or island.
6. Describe the demographic changes until today.
The population is not more than 800 people before, because there is no other
tribe migrated in their place it is only Mandaya tribe. Since, the period of time is
evolved the population grow more than 2,000 nowadays compared before.
7. Describe the development of public structures until today.
 The public structures nowadays are greatly difference from the past. There all
now made of cement and other steel materials that use to construct
establishments, houses and others. Not like, before that all are made of native
materials.
8. Describe the current mode of living of the people in your locality?
And now, there are a lot of mode of living today includes the fishermen, farming,
transportation and others.
9. What is the current mode of transportation?
They are all now used tricycle, van, jeep, bike and other technologies invented.
10. Describe the technology trend in your locality.
They are all now using gadgets like cell phone, computers, laptops and other
technologies invented that we can easily access and reach out news like
television.
